what about the time he was locked in a meat freezer for a couple decades? he was in a constant cycle of starving to death and raising from the dead as well as isolation and claustrophobia
#2 Deadpool actually got to meet his daughter after it was shown that the dr’s brother kept his daughter. Her mutant power is to have a factory reset, so if she dies she gets reborn as a younger version of herself
These are the reasons that Deadpool is my favorite. He has lived a tortured existence. Both physically and mentally. He has survived much of it by letting go of his sanity. But he never let go of who he is. I have had existential struggles as well, so I identify with his pain. I will always cheer for Wade Wilson, my regeneratin' degenerate.
The best yet saddest stories for Deadpool isn't where he is lol random as everyone thinks he is but more when he is the sad clown.Plays the fool to hide the warriors pain as it goes.
There are 2 versions of deadpool:the over the top goofy merc and the sad clown who jokes to hide the pain.I like both but lf deadpool is the sad clown all the time then deadpool would be like every other superhero.we need those wacky antics of the wicecracking merc to balance the serious side.
I really LOVE that you went out of the way to add that very touching and heart felt outro for this video! Sometimes these videos are all I have as an escape and that was really touching and thank you for caring !!
I think one of the most profoundly amazing things about Deadpool as a character, is that he is the absolute most human and real comic-book character that exists (to my knowledge). I feel... so much sympathy for the poor bastard.
His constant wise-cracking most likely isn't just his insanity, it's possibly also a coping mechanism, he is a very broken man, mentally and physically. Deadpool might always seem upbeat and cheerful, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he feels absolutely dead inside, all of the madness, loss, constant physical pain and mental trauma is a surefire recipe for severe depression and possibly even PTSD. It truly sucks that every time something good happens to him, it's always fleeting, and it always get taken from him in the worst ways imaginable. Deadpool is probably one of Marvel's most tragic heroes, and most people just simply don't see it, they just see him as the wise-cracking, gun-toting nutcase in red.
Thanks for that ending man. I kinda need some positive thoughts right now. Losses and bad news left n right have me in a bit of a bad mindset. Thank you.
should've included the time he was stuck for about 800 years in a bunker/freezer with wade constantly starving and regenerating over and over. which in turn made him more nuts when future people found him
You got my like just because of that awesome, heartfelt outro... That is definitely a message we need to hear right now. I hope everyone stays safe, healthy, and happy, and remember always that this is not the end of the world, it's merely an inconvenient stumbling stone so long as we are all strong.
Jules, as always I very much appreciated your video, your observations, and all the work that went into, plus your loving closing. Thank you so very much.

Me personally I think “actually wanting to be in the X-Men” should count, I grew up with the original 3 movies (back when Jean Grey was a redhead and the Phoenix Force was actually scary) and while I don’t *mind* watching the newer ones they don’t hold a candle to the originals and that they would deny entry into their goody two-shoes fan club is just insulting! You’re too good for these marshmallows DP, really can’t wait for Deadpool 3 💙🐱💙

Hey Jules, I don't know what started you on giving words of encouragement at the end of your videos, but I wanted to say that even as someone that is currently do well, I appreciate it. What you do at the end of the videos is small, but I'm sure you know it can make all the difference, and I'd like to reflect it back at you: You're awesome, you bring joy to people, and I hope that you are doing well and have an amazing end to your day!

I saw this really interesting theory that said that deadpools cancer actually keeps his healing factor in check to stop him just healing all the time and becoming a huge mass of flesh
Jules, I know you probably won't pass by to see the comments of this video, but thank you. You're a really good guy, and don't let anyone say or tell you otherwise.
You made a list of horrible things to happen to dead pool, and you left out being locked in a safe under ground for a 1000 years(or so). Were he slowly starved to death only to come back and slow starve to death again, and again. Went (more) insane , then totally sane , only to be drive to a new different insane from being locked under ground starving for several life times. That really should be some where on the list

This is what a lot of people don't know about deadpool. They think he's just a wacky comic book character. The roast of deadpool is one of my favorite comics because it shows his true story.
Kinda suprised this list didn't include the time after secret war deadpool couldn't handle his guilt anymore so he wiped his own memories even the ones of his wife and daughter
These uplifting closing remarks that keep me from jumping off a cliff only serve to keep me here to leave snarky comments in the future... You're not doing anyone any favors by talking me out of the darkness...
Only correction I can offer is that Deadpool is not a mutant. He is mutated. He was just a guy with cancer who was injected with Wolverine's healing factor.
Man, I didn't need you to make me cry at the end there....
Yeah, Jules tends to do that alot. Some words just hold a different emotional weight simply by being said by him.
