Join me on an adrenaline-pumping journey as I dive into the world of longboarding. In this exhilarating UA-cam video, I embark on a heart-pounding descent down a 15km mountain road in Catalonia, representing Team France with my fellow athlete, Adrien Paynel.
As I set off on this epic ride, my excitement is palpable, fueled by the stunning backdrop of the Catalonian landscape. However, my nerves quickly kick in when we unexpectedly lose the signal of our walkie-talkies, leaving us without the vital communication from the lead car that warns of oncoming vehicles.
Racing down the twisting mountain road at speeds of up to 70km/h, I experience a heart-stopping moment as we narrowly evade a dangerously close encounter with a car. The intensity of the situation amplifies my adrenaline rush, blending excitement with fear.
Undeterred by this unexpected setback, Adrien and I enter the second phase of our descent, pushing our skills to the limit. In an incredible display of synchronized prowess, we ride side by side, forming a breathtaking race-like formation. The harmony between us and our boards is truly awe-inspiring.
With every twist and turn, we demonstrate remarkable control and technique, navigating the challenging terrain flawlessly. As the wind rushes past me, you can feel the energy and passion emanating from the screen. My camaraderie with Adrien and our unwavering determination to conquer the mountain road shines through, creating a captivating viewing experience.
