You did a great job on this cover. But I am not a fan of the guitar solo. I mean u played it perfect, so I don’t mean that it’s your playing. Your playing is great.
I loved the song, I remember this song when I was growing up in the early 90s being on MTV
But I just never liked the solo. It’s somewhat of an awkward sounding solo. Idk what it is but it’s like it lacked soul and flare. If Eddie Van Halen or zakk Wylde or Paul Gilbert or Guthrie, someone like that I think would have done the solo more Justin, I love nuno btw, idk it was just something I never understood.
This was a world premier song that got massive views ! Janet decided to do a rock song I mean it was a big deal back then because Janet was a big deal.
Either way the song still rocks and was one of her best songs
Nuno is a monster guitar player. He did play on this track, but he did not perform the solo. I always thought he did too. But I learned just a few months ago that the solo was done by guitarist, Dave Barry. I love this solo.
