    I just received my new Garrett AT Pro yesterday and now I have a good head start to my Garrett AT Pro after watching this video a couple times along with the other single segments as well. I have a lot of learning to do but I am excited about it, even looking forward to my Dads iron nail covered yard Lol. Great Video, I enjoyed and appreciate it very much.

    Thank you for a very informative video.
    With so many brands of detectors sold on the market today I found your video to give a lot of detailed information.
    I started with a Garrett Deepseeker in the early to mid 1970's and have decided to purchase another. While I have other detctors since my first one, I don't have any of the information that's available through the Garrett AT Pro.
    Your video plus others for the Garrett AT Pro has helped me to choose that detector.
    Thank you for your very informative video.

    After watching Nugget Noggin, I purchased an AT Pro. I detected with a Whites Eagle 2 for 30 years, it was a great machine. After using the AT Pro I have been finding silver and older coins at places that I hunted for years, the area was a really junky area and the AT Pro scoped the coins out ! This is a great machine.

    Here is a thought: utilize the iron discrimination use with reservation. You may possibly exclude an iron or steel box with valuables inside!

      it should only be used in a high junk area where a hot target will jump out at you.

    Hi. what do i have to do if i change the coil? somehow the at pro is not going well.

    • @NowAndThenTreasures
      @NowAndThenTreasures  4 роки тому +1

      check all coil - cord connections to make sure it's secure, tight and put on correctly. Then do a simple factory reset. To restore the factory settings, press and hold the power button for 5 to 10 seconds (until the detector produces a fast double beep). Then do a bench test. If the problem persists I would put the old coil back on, do a factory reset to see if the detector is the problem or the new coil. if it's the detector, contact Garrett. hope this helps

    I've noticed in many of these videos the hunter sweeping about 15% or less of the ground he is walking/sweeping over. Wouldn't it be a better technique to walk slowly and cover 100% of the ground you are passing over?

    This is a overpriced machine to say the very least depth and target identification poor the minelab machines are far better far deeper miles more advanced fact !!

    • @Mr.Technical77
      @Mr.Technical77 6 років тому +1

      While it is true that most Minelab machines will give you more options, fine tuning, and maintain depth in a wider variety of environments, your response is overly dramatic. For inland and fresh water hunting you'd hardly know the difference and you'd be unlikely to see a significant depth advantage. Certainly not a blowout. The depth advantage is only significant in saltwater and highly mineralized mediums. With the Equinox series out starting at $650, it would probably be wise for Garrett to either reduce the Pro to $499 and include a Digger and ProPointer AT, or $449 and include Digger a ProPointer II.

      @@Mr.Technical77 If I could find one with Waterproof Headphones and a ProPointer II at that price point, I'd purchase one today

    • @Mr.Technical77

      DividedWeFall1000 you may soon see things like that. With the Nokta Makro Simplex (waterproof, wireless, autotrack, 14khz, updateable) for $299 companies like Garrett will have to provide incentives to survive. Nokta is trying to take them out, literally, by selling all terrain makeovers at manufacturing cost with state subsidies. It's good for the consumer, but bad for the future, for competition and innovation
