    Great video...lots of good info...I just purchased an ATGold and have been detecting my backyard for several days learning the different settings and signal tones. This house was built during ww2 and I figured there would be several good targets and there were. I have a half pound of rusty nails, pull tabs, toy car, brass hose nozzle, several pop cans and today I scored a gold ring! It rang up as a 42...until today I was not aware that the smaller the gold would register that low.

      +area46241 Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment on the video - and congratulations on the gold ring! We will have an AT Gold video coming soon. All the best and Happy Fossicking! Warren.

    Thanks a ton for the tips (from America). At 17:00, seems like a little rough digging there, that might stab the items. :) I'm jealous of your coils and the waterproof pointer.

    Great vid Warren. I have an ATPro too. Love it so all your instruction has been invaluable. Cant wait to get out and hit the Vict. Golden Triangle with both the AT Pro and my ATX. My best coin so far was a Trade token taken from The Retreat Hotel 70K's from Townsville. I love my Garretts.

    Great overview mate. You have taught me something about the Garrett AT Pro. I have been using it a lot here on our Scottish oddesy. The best thing so far is a roman coin circa 2,000 years old. Now I have watched your video I am hoping to utilize this wonderful tool to its full extent. Yous AyeMatt

    Great vid. For anybody that knows, I'm currently using a Tesoro, but am looking to go down to south America to go relic hunting in a heavy war zone and would like a new diff detector for that. Would the AT Pro be a good choice for that?

    I wasn't aware that the Denver mint struck foreign coins as well as U.S. Wow, I guess you learn something new every day.

    • @NQExplorers
      @NQExplorers  8 років тому

      +Gimmee Inboxback Thanks for your comment - yes during WW2 the Royal Australian Mint couldn't keep up with demand. Australian silver was shipped to Denver and San Francisco where it was minted into Threepence and Sixpence coins, then shipped back to Australia. At the end of the war, a heap of silver coins were shipped back to the US to be remelted, as payment. A pretty good arrangement - so we often find D and S mintmark wartime silver in Australia! Happy Fossicking! Warren.

    You can still adjust the discrimination in pro zero mode to whatever you prefer. Also,why not just lower the discrimination to hear the iron instead of leaving iron audio on all the time? That's just the way I do it. I only use iron audio temporarily to check a specific target.

      I don’t use iron audio. I run zero disc and listen to the iron.
