Garland's "nomination was delayed" is false, you are probably trying to say "Mitch McConnel blocked the Senate from performing its Constitutional duty to vote to confirm the nominee" for about a year when they finally voted on "the guy they wanted". Yes the Senate let SCOTUS nominations lapse before Garland, but for a much smaller amount of time, back before air travel when it was a monumental effort to gather enough Senators by train and horse - so Maher is technically wrong but effectively correct.

The Supreme Court is sorted out. The problem is that leftists can no longer depend on the Supreme Court to create laws for them that the legislature would never pass.
1) Sure, we mainly need to get money out of politics 2) Unfortunately, the Supreme court is fairly partisan, but not in the way you are alluding to. On the conservative end, yes Roe v Wade clearly was an agenda, but the original Roe case was also a poorly constructed decision that Biden knew could be easily overturned as far back as '85, so that one is kind of on the Democrats for not doing anything to enshrine those rights for nearly 50 years. Frankly, Roe itself was quite literally legislating from the bench. 3) JFK was not a particularly good president. Yes he got us through the Cuban missile crisis, barely, and he did push civil rights, but he also opened the door for one of the most racist presidents we have had in living memory to architect a welfare state designed to keep people of color poor and dependent on the Democrat Party. Questioning the outcome of an election isn't illegal and has been done throughout our history . Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, Stacy Abrams are a few recent examples of people who questioned results. Choosing alternate electors has also been done by Democrats and is permissible in case electors are rejected for a constitutional reason.

Garland's "nomination was delayed" is false, you are probably trying to say "Mitch McConnel blocked the Senate from performing its Constitutional duty to vote to confirm the nominee" for about a year when they finally voted on "the guy they wanted". Yes the Senate let SCOTUS nominations lapse before Garland, but for a much smaller amount of time, back before air travel when it was a monumental effort to gather enough Senators by train and horse - so Maher is technically wrong but effectively correct.

2) Unfortunately, the Supreme court is fairly partisan, but not in the way you are alluding to. On the conservative end, yes Roe v Wade clearly was an agenda, but the original Roe case was also a poorly constructed decision that Biden knew could be easily overturned as far back as '85, so that one is kind of on the Democrats for not doing anything to enshrine those rights for nearly 50 years. Frankly, Roe itself was quite literally legislating from the bench.
3) JFK was not a particularly good president. Yes he got us through the Cuban missile crisis, barely, and he did push civil rights, but he also opened the door for one of the most racist presidents we have had in living memory to architect a welfare state designed to keep people of color poor and dependent on the Democrat Party. He was just good looking. So, no, we actually don't need a young, inexperienced president who just looks good. How about a middle aged person who A) knows what the hell they are doing and B) actually cares about the country more than their pocket books?

Questioning the outcome of an election isn't illegal and has been done throughout our history . Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, Stacy Abrams are a few recent examples of people who questioned results. Choosing alternate electors has also been done by Democrats and is permissible in case electors are rejected for a constitutional reason.

I stand by my opinion that professionals made the best decisions they could have at the time under the circumstances. I'm frustrated with things that shouldn't even come up to their level.
As time went on, circumstances changed, new info came in, power shifted hands, I still stand by those professionals making the best decisions they could have made. My situation shouldn't have to involve those high level ppl too much. Just want to know how I fit in and move forward using my degrees and brain
