The intro and the end are part of BU content and there are about 17 songs related to BU content. This very complex story, even today, amazes us because of its very intricated plot.
Euphoria is part of bangtan universe (BU), their alternative universe. Many of the clips in this MV are from their reels or older music videos. If you follow the BU story, it is actually Jimin who is in the hospital (refer to the reel of Lie) because Jimin's character in the BU witnessed a traumatic incident. You may have missed watching their Prologue video becaue it is restricted by UA-cam but look for it.
But i like your perspective. And BTS are indeed musical geniuses.

Watching Alex talking about Claire De Lune, claiming it's a different piece and me laughing knowing Evan is going to totally dog him about being wrong!! What other Artist incorporates classical music into their repertoire? It reminds me of when as kids we'd watch Looney Toons where we as kids were exposed to classical music in their cartoons.
BTS broadens it's fans exposure to different genre and don't box themselves into stereotypes of what KPOP was limited to.
Not EVERYONE will like ALL BTS songs, but there IS a BTS song for EVERYONE!

I'm glad you guys enjoyed the video and appreciate them. I really applaud you guys for trying to piece things together even though it's confusing and with many puzzle pieces missing. Okay now your getting into the MV's soon that you may need more help from explanation videos to understand. IDOL MV has a lot of cultural references that's hard for international fans to pick up on. Map of the Soul: Persona Comeback Trailer MV which is a solo by RM is lyrically gonna be hard to get plus it's hard to read all of it so I highly recommend "Map of the Soul: Persona Explained by a Korean" by DKDKTV after watching the MV, they literally breakdown the lyrics with cultural & social context added.

This is one of my favourite BTS songs and the MV is one of my favourite videos.
Both have a purity and an innocence that remind me of the Eighties. You don't really see or hear that any more. 💜

hey, guys! i've been binge-watching your bts reactions for a few days now and i'm loving them! you guys are funny, open-minded and have been very respectful of our boys and their art, and that's super appreciated!
after watching this last reaction i felt compelled to leave a comment with a suggestion, tho.
i feel like you're not getting to enjoy the BU in all its glory and the way it should be enjoyed lol
you have told us before that this is something you really like to do: try and search for a meaning yourselves, draw your own conclusions, even if you're "wrong" (there's no wrong, of course, all a matter of interpretation) and i'm super here for it, i think it's awesome, not every reactor makes the effort.
buuuuut, as you probably already noticed, the BU storyline is absurdly complex, we're not exaggerating when we say that lol
even us, armys, when we're diving into it for the first time, we literally need the explanations someone already put together lol no one figures it all out by themselves, at this point there are some very consolidated and mostly accepted theories to explain what we see in the videos, and they're extremely useful to understand and catch things we always miss.
plus: maybe you noticed too, but the songs/lyrics don't exactly reflect what's being shown in the videos, in their acting.
all that being said, my suggestion is maybe you could move forward reacting to the mvs in sequence, just focusing on the music/lyrics isolated, and then at some point you can officially dedicate the reactions to understanding the BU! you can maybe revisit the important mvs, there's a suggested sequence to make them make sense lol and of course, put them hand in hand with the explanation videos!
i apologize for the long text, i'm just feeling a little bummed that you guys are not getting to fully grasp the magnitude of BU and it's SO AMAZING and SO WORTH IT!!! I KNOW for a fact it would blow your minds! so yeah, that's it! take care!!
euphoria is a song by jungkook. this is not the official mv of euphoria. euphoria has no mv. fyi jungkook is the only bts member without music video in bts old days vs other members. he is the only member without intro comeback. anyways, the company only used euphoria as background music. this is a 9 min short story by bts. euphoria by jungkook is only used as background music. thank you. stay safe.

Here is a very basic recap of events in I Need U MV (this is the one where V's character stabs his father):
JK- bumps into 2 thugs on the street and gets beaten up. Last scene we see of him headlights are coming towards him like he's about to be hit by a car.
J-Hope- we see him take some pills also a scene where he and Jimin look like their in hospital beds in a ward together. Then we see a scene of him collapsing on a bridge
Jimin- We see him in a bathtub full of water, we see him submerge but later he is outside of the tub shaking, he seems distraught.
RM- we see him at a gas station pumping gas, a customer throws money out the window and drives off instead of handing it to him.
Jin- we see him in a room with a bed and a window, flower petals in his hands, the very first image of him is tears rolling down his face
Suga- we see him in what looks like a hotel room, he douses the room in gas and lights the room on fire.
V- He comes home sees his father hit his sister grabs one of the many empty beer bottles hits him with it and stabs him.
I feel like it might be a bit more confusing to some in the new footage as they all have the same hair color now. The one being pulled from a fire is Suga and the one pulling him out is JK. The 2 on the stairs dressed in hospital clothes is J-Hope who has his eyes closed leaning forward like he might be about to fall and Jimin behind him reaching out to grab him with a worried look. We see someone at a gas station pick up the money it's Jin and across from him is RM who works there. Later we see a room with V and his sister but instead of his father being there it's J-Hope now, no one is bleeding. This is all flashing in between JK who is on top of a tall building looking out at the city putting his arms up like he's flying. We see all the boys at what looks like a hospital cafeteria or something Jimin is in hospital clothes wearing a party hat, they all start running together towards the door while Jimin puts on a different shirt but another scene flashes in-between of Jimin running at a different time of day possibly (the sunlight is different) where he is alone but stops just in front of the door. While with his friends he goes through it.

many of your doubts can perhaps be answered and made sense if you read the Save Me webtoon, that puts many things in place about BU
