RM once said that the love yourself concept they created with the 3 albums was somewhat inspired by Jin. Jin had zero singing or dancing ability's and always felt like he was lacking within the group which is why Jin worked twice as hard. Until this day he still practices a day earlier then the members to learn the choreography. He's truly an incredible artist who has worked hard to where he is now. Epiphany is the reason Jin became my bias his live performance of this is astounding. Thanks for your reaction!
Agree with the comments that his live performance of this is friggin insane. And like I told you last week, Jin is the key to the BU. The truck with the guys at the end is significant…I know I’ve suggested this several times but, webtoons Save Me when you’re ready to learn the whole story.

He sounds fantastic Live! This is an abridged or shortened version of the song. There is a vid of him performing this at a huge stadium with army singing along "I'm the one I should love in this world..." it gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.
Not sure if you guys already filmed your reaction to IDOL MV yet but it's the song I mentioned before that goes crazy with color & visuals and imo is because they were getting a lot of hate at the time as they were winning American awards, they were being criticized for being too "westernized" which is ridiculous, it was all jealousy & envy.
I recommend watching "IDOL MV Explained by a Korean" by DKDKTV. Although I will say I sometimes disagree with comments made in their videos like when it mentions Jin's drawing of a whale, many army know Jin loves the animal itself he even has a few sweaters he wears with a whale on it and that BTS has a song called "Whailen 52" which is about the "52-hertz Whale" which you can google it's referred to as "the loneliest whale in the world", Jin also likes the song a lot and said he relates to it.
BTS was my counseling after my 8 year relationship ended abruptly. They pulled me out of my depression and made me feel happy again. I have a soft spot for them in my heart. It wasn't just their music either. Watching them together just being themselves, showing how much they love and respect each other on In the Soop, Bon Voyage and Run BTS is why I really love them.

It's been said, but you def want to watch the live version...this trailer was a shortened version of the song, you should hear the whole thing! I personally like the stage mix video of the live performances, because you get to see all the different outfits and pianos!

You guys somewhat made the connection to the BU towards the end. It also marks the end of the Love Yourself series and moves on to the next era, Map of the Soul.
Yeah I do think they often go back to paying homage to themselves as a group because they were Seven strangers; half kids when they were put together and they got closer despite their differences and became family. They always thank the members and the Army for saving them. They were young and lost and through their bond they found a way to love and to a beautiful life. And they always reflect that and their appreciation. Like they don't take one single thing for granted.

Once you see Jin singing it live in their concerts, you will appreciate his voice, emotions and the song’s message. It’s an awesome package.
Dynamite was the music that introduced me to BTS but Epiphany was the music that made me ARMY.
Deep in depression to the point where I was thinking seriously to make a choice that would be permanent.
Epiphany was the slap that I needed it. I began to come back to myself and started to love myself again.
I will be forever grateful to these 07 men.
This whole series of albums is really well crafted. They put such thoughtfulness into their concepts and it spans many albums, ties together things within the BU etc. Its also a much needed message in the world and I know to much/most of Army its deeply important and has helped us through life's trials and tribulations to get reminded to love ourselves gently. You've only heard the highlights the whole albums in the Love Yourself series every song is this good to me. The final song Love Yourself:Answer is one of my favorite mood lifters its an uplfting reminder they used to close out concerts to tell us once again to love ourselves.

I'm back lol. Just wanted to say I'm excited for the next series Map of the Soul which starts with RM's solo Persona. I highly recommend watching "Persona Explained by a Korean" by DKDKTV with it cuz it's a lot of lyrics being thrown at you and they break everything down. We get solos from each rapper in this series MV wise (the vocalists have individual solos on the albums too just not as MV's).
Also the Map of the Soul series (2 Korean albums Map of the Soul: Persona & Map of the Soul:7 ) was supposed to be their last before going on a World Tour in 2020. I was suppose to see them in Atlanta, GA my first concert for them but the whole tour got canceled because of Covid. Anyways, their plan was to all start to go into the military at the end of 2020 or beginning of 2021. But when the pandemic hit it threw all their plans out the window, they kept thinking things would get better and the tour would be back on. They initially postponed the concerts and held the tickets for fans, like myself many army held onto the tickets for nearly 2 years but they finally had to cancel them. All the music and albums released after Map of the Soul:7 were unplanned (I say this because they start to plan albums and album series ideas years in advance generally).

I appreciate that you are doing all these MVs because they put a lot of work into the visuals. But I do hope that you get to their live performances because there is nothing in the world like BTS concerts. I have seen your Swift reactions and she's definitely another artist that puts on genuine shows. But, I still think BTS is the greatest show out there. Really hope you get to that! Because some of these shorter songs are made full length live and the vocals are beautiful.
