My Mach 1 battery lasts over 2 weeks without driving. I am going to switch out the battery anyway this year to one of those 5lb antigravity batteries.
Hi, nice setup with the charger but I do believe the battery needs proper ventilation while charging. With the cover on it may reduce proper air flow and allow possibly dangerous gasses to accumulate. most batteries will off gas hydrogen, making adequate ventilation and the elimination of ignition sources critical attributes of the charging area.
Hi, I will check this with the Ford dealer as I not heard of that with modern batteries. One side note, if I drive the car for 3 or 4 hours the battery is being charged, I'm not sure how that is different to using a charger? Thanks for your input and watching my video
I am also going to attend the 60th anniversary Mustang
Hi, great, I hope to see you there. Thanks for watching 👍🏼
Wow I have never heard of a battery dying that fast.
Hi, yes that's why I asked the Ford dealer. Iv seen some forums where people have the same issue. Not sure if it's a poor quality battery or that the battery was left discharged for a long period of time as my car took over 6 months to arrive after it left the factory, it was in Newark for 3 months. Thanks for watching
