I’m definitely going to try your recommendations! ❤ The hand and feet care section was a lifesaver for me-winter can be so harsh on my skin! Thanks for sharing your expertise Dr. Aleksandra! 😊
Merry Christmas! Thanks for the great advise. I love the prequel Gleanser! Cereve is a staple in my house. I have prescription lactic acid cream and pout a nice dented one on top as a mid perfume. Before I had the prescription one I had used Alpha cream and would get tons of praise for how soft my skin is. It is still nice and soft. I put the Olay retinol cream on at nice with urea cream on my feet and Vaseline. I also put Vaseline on my cuticles and lips. Everything is nice and hydrated when I get up and drink at least a glass of water.
"Is it normal for sunscreen to blend smoothly without pilling, but then appear patchy and separate when I switch to brighter light? Could this be due to the formulation, my skin type, or how it's being applied?"
I think I know exactly what you’re talking about. I’ve noticed this with my tinted matte sunscreen just in the last month and I’ve noticed it in the areas of dry skin. I’ve since switched to more hydrating sunscreen and that has helped. Dry flakey skin can cause build up and uneven appearing skin in areas. I’ve also decreased tretinoin use and will do a hydrating treatment (thick moisturizer for a few hours or a hydrating mask) to help. Hope this is helpful
@ After I prep my skincare for sunscreen it was blend in very well smooth with dim light but when I switch to brighter I can see the sunscreen separating.
My skin is extra extra dry this year. Yuk. 😢 I enjoy your realness❤ I always feel you are super familiar. Do you practice in Bburg? I used to live there and feel I went to you a few times.
