Thank you for eye cream recommendation. Always looking for a good one ❤
I love Prequel products ❤
Are you aloud to wear clear nail polish??
Probabpy the most scary time for them, being taught how this is the most precise or else it is tragic.
Would love a specialized video on PIE as well!
Impressive content, Dr. Aleksandra Brown. Excited to see your next video from you. I hit the thumbs up symbol on your upload. Keep up the fantastic work. Your breakdown of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation was incredibly thorough! What are your thoughts on the long-term effects of using hydroquinone versus tranexamic acid for treating hyperpigmentation?
I recommend taking breaks from hydroquinone while topical tranexamic acid doesn’t need breaks imo
I have been using adapalene 0.1 % since last year, but i dont see much difference in my acne. Only in the 1st week when i started my skin was dry and flacky but now my skin is ised to it but does not seem to benefit and my skin just continue to break out.
Consider seeing a derm. You might benefit from tretinoin or your acne might have fungal or hormonal component
Ma'am, I have textured, sensitive skin. What would be a good gentle exfoilator?
I like mandelic, lactic and PHA for this
Good afternoon Dr.Brown, are people able to use urea on their face? And if yes, what percent or what products?
Yes. Try @prequel lotion
@ thank you!
I am getting a decent amount of milia, suddenly, and I don't know if it's because of my oil cleanser which I use to remove my water-resistant sunscreen (and have been using for years), my sunscreen (which I've been using for years) or Vanicream cream (which I've been using for years - along with the cleanser). Stumped. I have dry/uber sensitive skin and keep my routine/ingredients super simple (no fragrance/EO) as I just started Tret (zero irritation after three months, .025)..). I splash my face in the morning and go right to Sunscreen (from Europe with filters I tolerate better, EVY Kids 50)....any suggestions why?....P.S. The Cerave Cream to Foam Cleanser has Salycilic acid, so I avoid it...
Consider going up on tretinoin if your skin can tolerate
I'm happy that you explained the difference between PIH and PIE! I just heard about the term PIE, so this video has great timing for me 💙💙 Thank you 💙💙
Glad it was helpful!
You are glowing! ❤ 🙌🏽
Thank you
I was born with thin eyebrows and hardly anything works, is this product suitable and where can I get it please?
Yea but you have to have some hair for it to work. This is minoxidil 5% foam. It’s OTC at any drug store
@DrAleksandraBrown Thank you so much 🙏
Happy sunday dr brown , what is your favourite facial wash for face ❤🎉😊 xx
So many but check out my current faves here ua-cam.com/video/a1UxrjX9G44/v-deo.htmlsi=MrKYusPWXAxVakjE
Thank you for telling me xx
Yes! Im a teen and my mom has always told me that don't rush anything or else youll look like a monkey in a monkey show in thailand
I was so hoping you had chosen a fragrance/EO-free cleansing balm. With super-sensitive/dry skin, if you have one in your arsenal, let me know. Double cleansing works the best for taking off my water-resistant sunscreen, but fragrance and EOs cause irritation.
I think Elemis might have one without fragrance? I haven’t tried it yet tbh
If you have acne prone skin what sort of sunscreen should you look for?
Not all the shoes in the backround
When I was ten, I had TONS of pimples. So I really don’t think that a basic skincare routine like this would work. And a lot of 10 yrs old are facing with pimples too and everyone says “U don’t need much, only a cleanser, mouisturizer and a sunscreen will work”. But no It changes person to person. Im not saying they should use glow recipe, drunk elephant or anything else. Like even my doctor when I was ten, gave me an exfoliating tonic and it didn’t work, I tried lots of toners and tonics but nothing! So my doctor had to give me some special treatment. And back then, all of my friends were facing with this situation. So like a basic skincare like this doesn’t always work.
I went to a Russian run hole in the wall at a strip mall and wanted to just not have a uni brow when I was 12 in the 90s and she gave me Pamela Anderson brows they hardly grew back but I feel my oiky skin would take that solution travel all over my face but perhaps I'd give it a go during the winter as my skin oddly get dry. My hair is thinning too so I'll let you know in the next few mths.
Absolutely.
As far as I know It will work, but only for a year or two, then you won't see results as you were used to. When you then decide to stop using it, your brows will shed and you'll end up worse than before starting it. Everything comes with a price.
You don’t end up worse. You just go back to where you were before you started
@DrAleksandraBrown it's the same with lash serums, different active ingredient, same mechanism. My lashes never returned to normal. Everything that promises miracles ends up in a nightmare.
Does it make sense to use minoxidil for already fairly dark and dense eyebrows if you just want to make them more dense?
Sure! It’s a personal preference
@DrAleksandraBrown what do you think of rogaine I heard it's pretty good but I would prefer something with little to no alcohol so the skin doesn't dry out
@ it works but most common side effects is irritation. Many of my patients have used it successfully
@@DrAleksandraBrown could I counteract the irritation by using eutrosis ds which my dermatologist prescribed me for itchy and flaky brows?
You really make the best videos! Appreciating all the tips!
Glad you like them!

How much percentage to be use?
And also its js uncomfortable to sleep with wet hair to be honest 😂😂
Is this post just an ad for Sweed?? Unfollow
Nope! They have never paid me a penny to talk about their product.
Plzz recommend product for treatment
My 65 yr old skin loves snail mucin. The texture is just fine. ❤
which one is okay for dry acne prone ?
hi!! i turned 12 about 6 months ago and ive been struggling with breakouts and acne. not the acne you think though, ive never seen anyone talk about it before and im really struggling with it. i honestly don’t care and I’m not interested in skin care, but I am interested in not having breakouts. i use a spf moisturizer and facial cleanser daily. i go back-and-forth between a super cheap facial cleanser, and a fairly expensive one that is a lot more harsh. I don’t like either of these cleansers. I don’t know if it’s because of the type of cleanser that I’m using or if it’s that both of those just don’t work for my skin at my age. tips???
That is literally what I saw every time to myself. My oily skin means less wrinkles. 😂😂 I'm dying. But also we have acne scars. I'd rather take perfect skin than acne anti-age somehow but when I watch those skin disorder shows i am reminded to be thankful my skin wants to be skin.
I mam m from nepal but now work in dubai indoor.. I have melasma in my face n I m 31 years boy.. n my skin type is normal.. Plz suggest me which face wash,, which serum,, which moisturiser need to use ?? And which brands is best 🙏🙏 help me mam ❤
Can we use it on eyelashes?
Whatever happened to her?
yes fr! some 10yr sephora kids are out here using bubble and drunk elephant, these products are all you need for a young age!
Hey Dr ..my derm has given me clindamycin and adaplene when I had breakouts two months earlier , I had mild cystic acne which has recovered with 20 days antibiotic , clindamycin and adaplene course... But after that I kept using these gels on and off...or whenever I get a small acne....as a spot treatment.... But now I'm thinking of using them daily till those tubes get empty just as a preventive measure for future acne Should I use them even I don't have acne now ??
For 3 or 4 months i have thought ive had a stubborn callous on my foot. Turns out its a plantars wart. Im starting the duct tape trick tonight!!
Any recommendation for cleansing balm?
Joseon makes a fragrance, etc free one that is easy

I’ve been using botox every 3-4 months for the past 4 years and 2 weeks ago I got dysport for the first time and WOW not only was it less expensive but for me personally I prefer the effects over botox and I saw results within 3 days.

I just got daxxify today! They did a test on me with Jeuveau on left crow's feet and Daxiffy on right crow's feet 3 months ago and Daxxify definitely held up and lasted longer.
Yay!!!
Yet you still can't cook and my 8 year old can.
Gross 😮🤢🤮
🤢🤮🤮
I used aha exfoliator once a week but every time it sting should I still continue to use or just have a break
Take a break. Consider something with PHA instead of AHA if your skin is sensitive.
@@DrAleksandraBrown Any recommendation for PHA exfoliator?
