Welcome to this I See Fire Guitar Tutorial by Ed Sheeran! It's been a long time coming but I just wanted to make sure I did justice to this song and to bring you the easiest lesson possible. #iseefire was apart of The Hobbit soundtrack and was an instant fan favourite. The main riff/intro of this song is iconic and just sounds amazing when played properly.
Many beginners get intimidated by the start of the song and therefore put off learning I See Fire, however this song is actually much easier to play than people think. the intro is the hardest part, however if it is too hard, I teach an easy way of playing it which almost anyone could play.

Small tip: for the first hammer on and pull-off do the hammer on and immediately let go so you still get a loud sound for the pull off without having to pull down on the string. That’ll get you the speed and clarity.
For the 2nd pull off you’ll have to pull down on the string.

I know you made this 2 years ago but man I just really appreciate the effort you put into all of these tutorials. They are so easy to follow with the tab and the little guitar on the left it's really amazing.
The key was watching it over and over. checking the chords behind you and the strumming pattern. I take my hat off to you. I am going through all the Sheeran work now thanks to you.

Honestly you are now the only guitar teacher I watch. You are so incredibly clear with your instructions and give options for easier or harder ways throughout. Great lesson, sounds awesome, especially with that first slap implemented. I’m new to finger style, but I think it’s weird to move your thumb to the d string from the e if your index and middle finger are already there. I tried the thumb method but couldn’t get it to sound clean, so I cut it out and just used my fingers that were already there and it helped me a lot. Seems like unnecessary movement, but maybe that’s just me. Awesome lesson man!
