Unfortunately, this channel has been demonetized by UA-cam for the third time and therefore the Game Movie Vault has been closed. It was fun for over 10 years but I can no longer afford to spend the time to make these videos without being reimbursed by UA-cam. I have started a second channel that focuses on Diablo 4 and I am thinking of starting another separate Game Lore channel very soon.

I always thought when Heather and Harry last speak to each other at the mall, Claudia is already there and he is killed after they hang up. He knew he wouldn't last on the run forever.

My friends made me play Until Dawn, and the characters rarely -if ever- blink and their eyes sometimes just follow the camera.
So that little smile isn't just geniunely human for PS2, it is geniunely human for modern AAA gaming too.

So far I've seen everything for Silent Hill 1, 2, and 3, and so far Silent Hill 3 is my most favorite.
Silent hill 3 has definitely rooted itself in my head since I was a young kid watching my older bro playing this when I shouldn’t have.
The little downtrodden "I don't get it" line delivery at 9:30 is my favorite moment from this game.

This game literally made my jaw drop when I played it the year it released because of its in-game cutscene character graphics. The car scene at 42:00 stuck with me till today. Absolutely gorgeous game for its time.

Heather is so sassy i love her.
I wish Vincent had survived. He's taunting and manipulative but not evil and fully aware of how messed up the cult stuff is. And he was aware of it all but what makes him stand out more than anyone is that he's neither a tortured serious character always depressed or just mad trying to find meaning.
He feels like the only character who could crack a joke in these situations not to relieve his fear or dread.
I'd have preferred if Heather just kicked the shit outfit him but he survived.

I love this game, the acting/dialogue is all over the place. Mostly it's good but there's stuff that make you laugh, cringe, and just downright baffles you.

Game from 2003, and it still looks better than Silent Hill 2 Remake. 21 years later. Team Silent were magical.
Now that Silent Hill 2 Remake is a thing, I wonder if they'll remake the others.

Voice wise I think Heather sounds better now, Douglas is more skilled but sounds less fitting. Claudia is about equal.
Text boxes don't pause enemies with annoys me, I encountered a few bugs relating to text boxes. For example if you run towards the roller coaster controls during the dream sequence you can interact with them through the wall and doing so causes the audio for a different cutscene to play after Heather dies before the game locks, the PS3 menu won't even open.
Also in the Subway I found a text box about fire doors on a graffitied wall with no doors in sight, nothing game breaking like above but funny.
@@GameMovieVault oh, one thing that bugs me is the audio. A few things seem unexpectedly loud, which happens in horror games. But one weird thing is the menu. Like moving left/right through the items, it sounds like a stereo audio file being played in mono. Moving one direction sounds so much more quiet then moving the other.
Oh, and the fade when leaving the item screen lasts too long. You can run a few feet and go through a door before it finishes fading out, though I can't say if this was in the original release or not

I wouldn't usually play MMOs for long periods--a few months at a time--but it was a game so unique and huge in scope I'd still come back to it every other year or so.
It pissed me off when they started pushing EVE online skill injectors onto new players and made the skills screen flashy because I knew what that shady underhanded tricks were. Gaming psychologists getting their evil little claws into the game to maximize profits at the expense of the integrity of the game and core player experience.
Now it's monetized more extremely than most mobile games like EVE echoes. I've had the itch multiple times to return but every time I see the ads marketing direct power gains on their site I know I'm better off never touching it again--which is a shame.

Honeslty after seeing this from the hd remake and og the only character who has better voice acting is Heather/Cheryl. Vincent is leagues better in HD imo and Douglas just sounds goofy in og. Claudia sounds no different. Just more crisp in HD.
Even with Heather i still feel the HD VA did a fantastic job particularly in the first interaction with Vincent.
I wonder where travis is in this series. I hope Heather meet him in a game someday.
Does anybody know if the cutscenes need to be ran at 30FPS for the audio the be synced? Playing it in PC and the video is lagging behind the voices.
I loved heathers original voice! And honestly Douglas sounds the same . I hate playing the HD even 2021 it still lags and is horrible 😢the textures the pictures everything was so much creeper in this original

It's the possessed ending-- and happens if you act too much like a god throughout the game. (Killing too many people, forgiving the woman in the confessional booth.) And also if you don't show you care about Douglas.
