@@RossPatzeltit's going to be developed into a set of extra locations for Eastenders. Planning permission has been applied for. They still use George Street, up to behind the car lot and also Watford park for filming as these areas wouldn't fit on the site of the new main set.
I remember visiting it a few years ago, you couldn't see much from the outside, only the upper floor of the pub and the side of the houses next to the car lot.
Christ, I know there's the new set now and they're probably making plans for the spot of the old set. But still feels sad seeing all that emptiness. Reminds me of the old estate in South Thamesmead, where we used to live. Parts of that have already been replaced with modern buildings. And parts currently empty where they've demolished the old flats. Feels weird.
Hi Guy's my name is Mr C. T. Boxill-Harris I was wondering, why coudn't you find a nice fresh shiny Leyland Titan B15's and Repaint them to a Grey Green Colour’s just like the original Scania Grey Green's which were in the East London bus route's such as 125, 167, 179, 173, 168, 141, 66, 275, 313 and also the bus route 103, if you guy would like to find about 17 Leyland Titan B15's, please could you Repaint them in the Exact Grey Green Bus Colour’s and put them in EastEnders for all of us because it would be a Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Interesting Buses to see them Repainted to a Grey Green Colours and put them in EastEnders, Because I'am a Big Fan of all of those Leyland Titan B15 Buses 😉😉😉😄😄
A new era 😊. They are keeping the Walford station set and the old set is being transformed into new streets of Walford! Google new EastEnders set and read the news. All the plans are there for the new additional sets 😃
@@AndrewChapman No the police station is gone. It was on the back of Suki's house and next to it. The second cafe that was built onto the back of Patrick's house is also gone.
@@craigsouthwell Oh yeah, it's hard to keep track of the whole layout sometimes. Guess that means they won't be showing the exterior of that for a while then.
It looks like what it did before Auf Wiedersehen Pet started using this lot as the German building site
U can actually see the outline where numer 23 and Dots old home hallway used to be
What a tune!
Gosh it’s hard to picture where anything was !! They should of done tours - it would of made them money
I read they are very short of studio space now so this set will be used for other tv shows now

@@keithduffellGood to know. Almost feels like sacred ground and it would be wrong for its identity as the iconic original set shouldn’t be erased

HI I wonder why they Kept the Community Center Building and the Albert ??
They're gonna build new locations on the old set, and some of the buildings still there will be redecorated.
Thought that to cos the new set doesn’t have that bit it seems
@bencoatesworth7731 They still use the allotments, park, George Street and the Station from the old set. As there wasn't room for them on the new set.
new set in the background at 4:37
New video of the new set being uploaded tonight
You can see where the park was so it’s kind of trying to figure out the the navigation of where everything used to be.
Michaels Autos still there 💪
Now they just need to do the same thing with what's left of the show.
Is there a place that we could go see new EastEnders set
They do not do tours
Sad, end of an era!

Dirty Den will be turning in his grave. Loved it
Which grave , he’s had about 3 hasn’t he 😂😂😂
There used it for tourists attraction to make money
what a massive waste 😞
The BBC and waste are synonymous !
Having worked for them, yes, a lot of waste….. in more ways than one!
