Got my eyebrows threaded for the first time today. At 60+ I have always trimmed them, but threading really seemed to get to the chase at the request of a friend. I did ask the women about it and she said that with men, you should def keep them fuller. $12 They look a little angular to me; but not sure if that is just because all the grey curly stuff was removed. Great Vid man.

Getting married in April Antonio, and have always been a bit self conscience about my brows. When I was younger they were think, now that I'm a bit older they are not so much, but I do have my barber trim them, or I will do it myself. I have a habit of plucking the gray ones out, but if I keep it up I wont have any more to pluck! On special events, I will put in a little liner that matches my color...also, thanks for showing us the Norelco 5100 trimmer..I found it on EBay for a great price. Thanks again, new fan :)

I took a chance one day with my Conair Men i-stubble on the highest setting and it worked perfect! Its settings go from 0.4mm - 5.0mm. The 5.0mm setting (for me) cuts all those crazy hairs as you mention that don't like to stop growing. Its takes all of 10 seconds to make my eyebrows look 90%. a few mins with tweezers in between my eyes and its all done. Be forewarned... that this trimmer resets back to 0.4mm each time its turned off. You must reset it where you want it each time. Its digital and easy to see but don't get in a rush and forget. I forgot once and lost an eyebrow! Not bad for using it 3 years.
Antonio, I've been watching a lot of your videos recently and it's made me want to step my game up. I'm 20 and currently going to a tech school before transferring to my local university. A lot of your style videos pertain to men already in the workspace. I want to dress up but I feel a dress shoes, a blazer, and tie are overkill for a technical college. I'm trying to make a list of things to buy but I want to buy shirts and sweaters that I could dress down with darker jeans and canvas shoes, or dress up with a tie and dress shoes for certain occasions. Basically I need my clothes to be very versatile because as a student I can't afford an entire new wardrobe. If you could do a video or reply with some tips on how us college guys can dress nicer but still casual and also where to buy clothes on a budget that would be great!
+Ian Grogan Polo's and sweaters! Start with a polo, layer a sweater, switch the polo for a shirt, add a tie. Easy to look more on point with a polo which are far better than t-shirts which are what most people default to. Also personally I love suede shoes they are much more casual (and cheaper) than most leather shoes but again can be dressed down or up. (be warned they do take some maintaining though) and finally you can't go wrong with jeans or chino's keep em plain, no stain. (or rips.)

Depends what you like; one crew neck and one v-neck in a navy or black goes with pretty much anything TopMan has them for £20, I've seen two for £35 in Next and I'm sure you can get them cheaper elsewhere. For shoes Clarks have a 50% off sale on Amazon at the moment which is worth checking out but it's always best to go in a try a pair on.

Where I used to go and get my haircut about a year or two ago (after I had reached +30) my hairdresser started to work on my eyebrows. Didn't really think of it much at the time, then I was not really paying attention to it anyway. Then as I moved and saw some of your videos I started to pluck abit on my own when needed. But should really do more about this than I do.
I have threaded my eye brows. I would still be doing it if they would come out the way I want. Just like he said, you don't want it looking all sharp angled. Sometimes the girls would thin them too much because that is what the female clientelle want. The benefit is, they look simetrical unlike when I pluck them myself.
Some guys have eyebrows with an arch (MJ for example) and I don't think it's ugly. Can be very nice on some poeple but just don't overpluck them, I think.
mine have a natural arch and are thinner because of genetics. some guys have thinner eyebrows like MJ can pull it off well but some make it look bad or overly feminising things

i usually shave my unibrow area. mine doesn't grow particularly quickly, so i can shave once a month or one and a half months. I find that, for myself at least, it's a lot easier and quicker, but still creates a look similar to plucking
I pluck the long ones because they also tend to be lighter color toward the root but I don't know how many more years I'll be able to get away with that. I'll get the strays with tweezers as well unless I'm in a hurry then I'll use my trimmer.

just get a comb and put it at the start of your nostril on the top up to your eyebrow in a straight line and anything on the other side of your full eyebrow pluck.... if that makes sense

my barber just knocks back the wild growth. I'm not a fan of "man-scapeing". It's obvious when seen. If it's obvious, it was done wrong and it's difficult to look at a guy thats been scaped, much less take him seriously. Now IF your brows are genuinely bad, whatever that means, don't let your colleagues see then grow in and then get picked back. PLEASE. For the rest of us. It's awkward at best. Keep up with that stuff so we see a "norm". Would you shave every 4 days? No? Then stay on top of the rest of the landscaping or dont do it at all.
Never get your eyebrows threaded. It hurts like hell. Best is to have them waxed by a good stylist. One piece of advice for self waxing eyebrows is once you put the melted wax on and the tape, put an ice cube on the tape and hold it there for a minute. Two things it will do. 1 Numb the skin slightly. 2 Solidifies the wax so it removes the hair more effectively and thus less irritation.
I have done them threading is not that bad. But I tell I wouldn’t recommend any of them. Pulling weaks the skin and hair stop going thru the years, constant pulling is wack. Best option is do threading one, and get a hair cut every 2 weeks and ask a barber to trim and shape them every 2 weeks you don’t have to worry more of pain. 😂 plus you keep your eyebrow, look at many woman over 25 with no eyebrow because of constant pulling.
I get my eyebrows threaded, it works well and is quick, lasts about 2-3 weeks before they start popping out. However, with the eyebrows a little is a long was just make sure u tell your barber not to shape ur brows rather to remove the excess hair! .... i have humungous brows and trust me when i tell u this.... i am too scared to trim them how ever..... and another tip.... instead of shaving above the beard line (below the eyes.. cheek bone area) get that area threaded!!!!! it keeps the skin soft and prevents the hair from growing thicker. hope this helps, or antonio could talk about it in one his videos to help others from becoming gorilla faces :D

when i cut my head hair with my wahl clippers,i put the number one guard on and run the clippers over my eye brows job done.

im a guy with thick eyebrows that form a unibrow. how do I judge where to start plucking? I used to trim it but it's difficult to make it look normal if that makes sense
just get a comb and put it at the start of your nostril on the top up to your eyebrow in a straight line and anything on the other side of your full eyebrow pluck.... if that makes sense
Ask a professional to do it first then u just keep it from growing

my barber just knocks back the wild growth. I'm not a fan of "man-scapeing". It's obvious when seen. If it's obvious, it was done wrong and it's difficult to look at a guy thats been scaped, much less take him seriously.
Now IF your brows are genuinely bad, whatever that means, don't let your colleagues see then grow in and then get picked back. PLEASE. For the rest of us. It's awkward at best. Keep up with that stuff so we see a "norm". Would you shave every 4 days? No? Then stay on top of the rest of the landscaping or dont do it at all.

Never get your eyebrows threaded. It hurts like hell. Best is to have them waxed by a good stylist. One piece of advice for self waxing eyebrows is once you put the melted wax on and the tape, put an ice cube on the tape and hold it there for a minute. Two things it will do. 1 Numb the skin slightly. 2 Solidifies the wax so it removes the hair more effectively and thus less irritation.
I have done them threading is not that bad. But I tell I wouldn’t recommend any of them. Pulling weaks the skin and hair stop going thru the years, constant pulling is wack. Best option is do threading one, and get a hair cut every 2 weeks and ask a barber to trim and shape them every 2 weeks you don’t have to worry more of pain. 😂 plus you keep your eyebrow, look at many woman over 25 with no eyebrow because of constant pulling.
I get my eyebrows threaded, it works well and is quick, lasts about 2-3 weeks before they start popping out. However, with the eyebrows a little is a long was just make sure u tell your barber not to shape ur brows rather to remove the excess hair! .... i have humungous brows and trust me when i tell u this.... i am too scared to trim them how ever.....
and another tip.... instead of shaving above the beard line (below the eyes.. cheek bone area) get that area threaded!!!!! it keeps the skin soft and prevents the hair from growing thicker. hope this helps, or antonio could talk about it in one his videos to help others from becoming gorilla faces :D

great tip is to apply just a little after shave, after you plucked them. you wont get red spots or pimples that way!
