Im Indonesian and i cook a lot, it is kinda overwhelming to see people this beautiful country use a lot uncommon ingredients (for Indonesian) such as rice water, fresh tamarind (and its flower) for the native foods, i bet the flavour profile would be rich and complex. Now im eager to try some (especially this soup)

Hi foodnatics! I just want to say thank you for your recipe. I tried this sinampalukang manok of yours just today and it turns out very delicious. The classic way of cooking this recipe was made extraordinary by you. I just need to make some alternative because some of the ingredients are not available in our market (ang tagal ko mamalengke hahaha ang hirap maghanap ng bulaklak ng sampalok at spinach 😅😅😅). Hindi ako marunong magluto at never ko pa napagluto ang mister ko ng ulam na may sabaw (husband is in abroad) but thanks to your channel I can make some delicious food for my husband pag-uwi nya. Ps. Hindi ko talaga magaya yung how do perfectly slice/chop your ingredients but I'm working on it hehe. Thank you for sharing.. Ito ang isa sa mga potahe na hindi ko makikita sa Mindanao at Visayas. Kung saan ako tumira. Lagi ko lng na kakain kapag nakaka uwi ako ng Luzon it Bataan. Sayang di ko lng sya natutunan nung buhay pa si inang (lola) ko. Pero malamang ganito rin pag luto nya. Salamat po ulit
