I am going to write about it, so there's going to be spoilers. It is worth it, if you have the chance to get the book, read it first. The most beautiful thing of the book is that Emily believed on a connection with dead people. Of course, she was afraid of loosing her loved ones, but killing Hummer meant being next to him, it was not a lost. It was thought that Hummer was gay and she knew he wouldn't stay with her forever. She also wanted to keep her father's corpse, and she never got over her father's death. All of this has a lot in common with the story of the Black Parade. There is a lot more about the characters, the meaning of the rose, the way it is told and its structure. It's all on the Internet.

Also the lines "It was a headshot/You know you gave me the gun/ please hide me now" - Could imply that Gee feels like that take his fault that the baby is dead. When he talks about a "headshot", he basically means that he was the direct cause of it. Headshots are very specific "You know you gave me the gun" - Possibly, this is far fetched, but the person that he's talking to, the "you", could possibly mean that he has some form of psychosis. A voice inside of his head is telling him that he was the one who killed the baby, and he's talking to the voice, telling it that 'you gave me the gun'. It's your, the voices, fault. Idk
