What a load of nonsense women can still get pregnant in there early to late 40s I'm 49 and I'm still fertile and had the shock by discovering I'm pregnant and I'm due on the 16th July 2017 This wasn't planned but it's a beautiful blessing never the less
Well I was waiting for the right person and here I am 46 I know that all thing possible to almighty God I will never give up on him I'm going to have a child wish me luck everyone
Were either of you pre-menopause or doing anything in particular? Im an identical twin and my twin was pregnant with Twins at 43 but found out that 1 twin had simply disappeared (apparently that’s very common but I forget the name for it), and gave birth at 44yrs. I found out I was also pregnant with Twins at 43 - unplanned which I feel is always the best way, but unfortunately I lost 1 (which is how I found out I was pregnant in the first place), and then the other Twin died at 13wks and I had to have an Op to remove her 😢 I’m now for the very 1st time in my life actively ‘trying’ to conceive but I’ve not got a clue what’s going on with my body. I’m 14st 9oz for the first time in my 46yrs (I’ve always been between 10/11st) and I’m always 🥵 burning but no one else can feel it. I feel like I have a fever but I don’t. It’s not ‘hot flushes - and apparently both of my ovaries are now sitting to the left side 🤷♀️🤦🏼♀️ I simply cannot lose weight no matter what I do. It isn’t my diet, it isn’t the menopause I’m not diabetic and it isn’t my Thyroid - I don’t know what it is but assume it to possibly be the reason why I cannot conceive. Any advice regarding weight gain, burning 🥵, how to lose weight and tips on conceiving would be hugely appreciated.❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️
Wanda Lugo congrats! I am also pregnant naturally and was looking for health advice on pregnancy for women 46+. So far all I hear is that it is hard to become pregnant, but no real advice on what to do if you are. I don’t have my first appointment until week 7.
I find that this doctor is so negative that the chance of women getting pregnant over 46 is 1%. I expect more optimism about what doctors had to say about older women wanting to become pregnant.
It’s very sad that these doctors can say this about older mothers! Some people and doctors will be negative because they couldn’t have babies in their 40’s or 50’s! They will be so jealous of you! Don’t ever give up! It can happen later in life ladies! ❤️
I'm 47 and 7 weeks pregnant, conceived naturally and was not trying to become pregnant. I was pregnant last year at 46 but lost the embryo. Are there any women who are 47 or older who conceived naturally and had a baby? Can you please reach out to me...I'm totally scared
I am 46 yrs old now and 20 weeks pregnant. Was not even trying. Had heavy bleeding from fibroid and the baby is still healthy. Just a total shock this entire pregnancy is for me.
"Condition"? It's pregnancy, not an illness. 1% is still high enough to be cautious if you don't want more children - that's 1/100 women. In a community of 1000 women over 44, 10 are pregnant. Not insignificant. The highest rates of abortion are now women over 40 because women are so often told they are past being able to get pregnant. I find it interesting how much over emphasis on the problems, but not on the probability of getting pregnant. I know women who are 30 and struggling and I know women over 40 who have had no problems. Like most things, it's individual.
I thought the risk of having a Downs child was 1 in 106 for a 40 year old woman and 1 in 11 for a 49 year old. His stats are a bit harsh...also, the fact that Halle had already had another child at 41 means her biological clock has been reset so she could get pregnant later in life... How comes he didn't mention this?
Farina Panzerotti this doctor is full of it. I have 4 friends who had children from 42 to 46. They only try to scare us so we can give them money for eggs for do IVF or take our tubes so that we will be a slave to IVF
@@mayluz444 I did not freeze my eggs. I used DHEA and CoQ10 for a few months before I I tried to conceive, and some vitamins. I used my own eggs with IVF. DHEA 25 mg per day and CoQ10 600 mg. I also love to take cold showers, and I did sauna sessions for about a year to shed toxins. best of luck if you have plans but dont trust these idiots, be hopeful and be healthy
@@mayluz444 I suggest to try first naturally conception is one challenge and staying pregnant until the end of first trimester is also another challenge. I was able to get pregnant naturally without IVF but miscarriage risk is very high when the embryos are not screened for genetic abnormality... but it is perfectly possible just comes with the risk of miscarrying earlt
My good friend and her partner have been seeking to have got a child for 3 years. None of their advisors could do much help. They`re expecting already after she bought the *ThePregnancyFact. Com* and following the method for two months. You can visit Google if you`d like to uncover more in regards to this fantastic method.?
it's 1% chance per month.... it's cumulative. AND, your Mother's age at time of menopause says A LOT!! No, you cannot reverse time, but he is just not considering all of the variables.... not a great way to practice medicine....
bullshit its definitely not 1%. In my family alone we have at least 4 women who conceived naturally after 45, my grandmother was in her 50s when she had my dad!
I'm 44 and hope it's not too late to have a child. No sign of menopause yet. I had first period late compared to others, age 15 and wonder if that matters - hope it might mean a later menopause.
Well that was about as depressing as it could be. No hope from this doctor. Bet he doesn't mind helping you try though. Sorry, that was mean. My husband and I would love to have a child together, but we are both 48 y.o. Even his mom & dad would help pay for ivf, but my husband only wants to use my eggs. Pretty sure mine are deviled by now. I would love to adopt but he would really love the baby to be biological. Any one have any suggestions to help turn his opinion around? (Ironically I myself am adopted)
