- Julie and Todd Chrisley are wishing their youngest son, Grayson, a happy 16th birthday on the first day of their federal trial. The "Chrisley Knows Best" stars are facing charges of tax evasion and bank fraud in atrial in Atlanta. They were indicted by a federal grand jury in August 2019 on 12 counts of bank and wire fraud, tax evasion, and conspiracy, all of which they have denied. But, despite all of this, they took time on Monday to send their love to their son on his milestone birthday. They each wrote heartfelt messages to Grayson on their Instagram accounts.

When I was Grayson's age my dad was almost charged with embezzlement. His company opted not to do it, if he resigned, but it impacted me, to the point of PTSD. The man I looked up to was a white collar criminal. My dad has since died, but it still blows my mind. Prayers for their family.
Sometimes in life you can't understand unless you been thru it so try not to judge your father too much..and we are just people too we make mistakes and we still would love you if you were a murderer ex.chris Watsons family so try to love your dad

They're down to earth not like a lot of stars, walk around with their nose in the air like their better than everybody. We've watched Grayson grow up over the years, and now he's made it to 16! Those years really flew by! He's a very handsome young man, definitely has game, and quite the smooth operator, I must say. He has that winning smile too! Have a very Happy Birthday Grayson! I also hope everything works out for his parents during their trial!

This is my favorite family I enjoy watching. My bucket list is to hang out with Fannie. She cracks me up the most. Todd is so lucky to have an awesome Mom. I wish them the best in the trial. Praying everything turns out for them.

I feel so bad though for Grayson. I hope they where truthful to him and the tax situation so he learns from their mistakes. I hope the values they appear to teach him on camera are real. Grayson is such a sweet kid, and has grown into a very handsome young man. I wish him success....but legally. I also hope the kids and nanny don't get stuck cleaning up the parents mess.

All tho I love Chrisley knows best show. I believe it was One of the most successful shows on USA. I don't believe they should be shown light sentences. If an average person who wouldn't be able to afford great lawyers was charged with these crimes they Will probably receive a lengthy sentence. This should be no difference for a celebrity

I hoped they’re punished like everyone else if they have committed a crime. There are people who didn’t even get to go to jail because the police chose to be judge jury and sentence.
I think it's sad that they decided to cut their oldest son out of their lives based on bad decision making, yet look what Dad's doing.

Obviously I don’t know if the Chrisley’s are guilty or not, but sometimes ‘perfect’ families hide the biggest secrets.. At my old job, there was a beautiful, lovely family they used to frequently come in. Everybody loved them. They had two or three young children, all under the age of 11. One day out of the blue, the one boy, I’m thinking he was around 5 years old, accidentally and vehemently blurted out “I can’t sleep bc you and mom fight all the time!!!” …. When the little boy said that, you could literally hear a pin drop… It took a few seconds for everybody to adjust and pretend like nothing was said and go about their business… But it was clear the family was not the ‘perfect’ family and ‘wholesome’ people they appeared or portrayed themselves as… Not long after that, we heard that the parents were getting divorced… So, sometimes these perfect families hide lots of secrets…… Who knows, it is for the courts to figure out…… Best of luck and wishes to them, though, if they are innocent…

This video is great. I literally just found out about this tax fraud stuff so idk what is really going on. I don't have an opinion on that but I will say, Todd and Julie have raised decent young adults which is hard period let alone raising famous kids. I wish them the best & I hope through this trial, these hard times bring them closer to our creator God Almighty.

The moral/lesson of this story is this. When you move in certain financial arenas. Hire a qualified CPA, a solid attorney and an estate or financial planner. However, they will charge $200 per billable hour. Also, before filling and signing anything related to your business, consult with them first.
