  • If we're not losing heads we're losing fingers... and then getting new ones?
Join me in watching episode 4 of Fallout - this time around we have some lore drops and some new (possibly correct?) theories.
What do you think? Is Dad evil? Will Lucy and Ghoul become best friends?

It's said when we hate something we should look at ourself.
The Ghoul is not an exception. :)

The Ghoul doesn't personally "hate" Lucy, he hates what she represents, which is Vault-Tec. As for the "medicine" you see him taking, this is something new that this show has added, you don't find it in the games. Once a ghoul starts to turn feral (zombie) there is no amount of the medicine they could take to prevent them from turning.

Oh I had no idea it's not in the games! I'm putting off playing them until after I finish the show.

Exchanging fingers and not in a fun way had me rolling.

So innocuous, and yet, so very naughty.

13:00 I don’t think vial will help her anymore. Roger had all those vials that he just used recently by his feet that couldn’t stop him from going feral. At some point if the feralizing? process has gone too far, it seems inevitable.

Makes sense - Martha was just so heartbreaking, I was looking for any solution...

I tend to think of this as the episode where Lucy starts to understand how much she doesn’t know about the world of the wasteland.

That makes me excited for next episodes! I really like her and how she sticks to her moral code, I just wish she had a tiny bit more of some... self-preservation.

So about the "putting back the finger thing". Mr Handy's primary protocol is to basically help then any secondary programing comes after.
So 1st help and fix then snip-snip

When The Ghoul is watching his movie, Coop says the thing about "ugly, strong, and had dignity", then tells the villain that he has two out of three (implying that he had no dignity). But the kicker is, that at this point in his life, the same could be said for The Ghoul.

So far Lucy has been very forward. Will she and the ghoul be more than friends? Maybe. Probably.

@@barbzthings Cool! I used to live in Ukrainian Village neighborhood in Chicago, which was largely populated by old-school Polish families for some reason. Great neighborhood, had the best diner in the city, and the "Zimne Piwo" bars were great for contemplative drinking or watching the big sports game (on a 13" black-and-white screen or such).
