Hey I just seen something interesting with a spectrum DX9 and was wondering if it can be done on open TX. The guy was using his upper trim buttons to adjust the elevator while the flaps were down so he could adjust the elevator when the flaps were deployed in the air but it did not change the elevator trim when the flaps were up.
Better yet, set discreet trims for Flight mode 1 and 2, then when flaps are down, flight mode 1 trims are used, and when flaps are up, flight mode 2 trims are used. You don't even have to change the switches you use to set trim. :)
Hi thanks for the great video, only one issues im having, my ailerons show nonoutput in channel monitor, hence not working properly. What would be the fix to that please
Sounds like you're missing a mix line. Mixer feeds outputs. Channel monitor shows mix lines and outputs. If you don't see movement on the channel monitor that means you don't have a mix and the downstream output.

I just watched your video to the end. You already know the answer. If you want the aileron stick to mix rudder, you add aileron to rudder like I said. If you want your rudder stick to mix/move ailerons, you have to add rudder to the aileron likes just like you did. Yes, they have to go on every line. What you're missing is that you're using static weights and you need to learn to use global variables. So instead of setting a weight of 76%, tell it to use GV1, then set the weight you want in GV1. For the Ailerons that are reversed using negative weights (you could have just reversed their output in the outputs tab) use -GV1 as the weight. I'm going to end this conversation here. At least two ways to do it. 1) Add two mix lines and assign a switch to each. One with the weight of 50, one with the weight of 100. That is manual mode but very easy to implement. To prevent issues with alieron inputs, you may want to also add two more mix lines for ailerons on the same switch positions and set their weights to 0. 2) Use a configuration similar to what I built in dynamic dual rates.
