No way in hell Missy has better rap bars than Rhapsody. I don’t old argue that even Lauryn hill is not a better rapper, it’s easier to do something really well a few times but a different story having to do it time and time again

Roc Marci mastered a style, but his discography isn't diverse at all. Common projects have boom-bap, jazz, soul, Electro, pop, funk, gospel, trap, drill, Afrobeat, spoken word, and psychedelic rock.

When has watering down lyrics ever made for a good rap songs, make that make sense. I mean rap is the one genre wherein lyrics matter most and saying that an album is better because lyrics were watered down doesn’t make sense, not to say that because an album has bars and word play automatically makes it good but watering down can just make a good song but not better rap. Rap is a very wishy washy genre, at one point you’d hear people say future is one of the top ten rappers in this generation, how when he barely raps, are we talking about popularity?
They got the Beatles album wrong yellow submarine the songtrack is the best thing they ever released it’s a mix of old new and unreleased songs but it’s great front to back none of the other Beatles albums are good start to finish

Just because Common watered down his lyrics and style on Be for mainstream appeal, does not make it better than Resurrection, One Day.. or LWFC.
