Yes, I have noticed that criticism of Netanyahu is increasingly being conflated with condemnation of Israel, or even antisemitism. Which I find entirely unreasonable. It is fair to criticize another country's foreign policy or military tactics. Just as it would've been fair to criticize the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and doing so did not imply a hatred of the UK or USA.
JC was perfectly happy to do a relentless hatchet job on Jeremy Corbyn because of his pro-Gaza stance (presumably a number of the JC journalists who are now so squeamish would have backed Netanyahu's propaganda over Corbyn's questioning of it at the time) , arguably sufficiently influencing the 2019 election to open the door to the disastrous Johnson premiership.
Like Hadley but disappointed in her. Israel is an existential fight and plurality of opinion is a good thing. The journalist who fabricated the pieces should be held to account but to deprive the jewish community of her column (which I enjoyed) is totally unfortunate.
I suspect she doesn't want her name to lend legitimacy to a publication which is effectively a propaganda outlet for netanyahu. More credit to her for having some principles.
disappointed not much discussion of the ownership of JC and why the secrecy?

Lol. Oy vey!
Why place the blame her?

@@hughiemg2 The writing was on the wall for quite a few years now, I'd wager she quit as the fabricated stories were too much of a public scandal.
@@SFRZRD What does this phrase mean? I've seen it on several news item comment sections now.
