when you set the rest scale on the vellum pressure node to anything above one the simulation seems to just spin uncontrollably (if the object is free and not attached/glued to anything)

How did you manage to inflate from zero scale in the example at the beginning?
hi sir, in 2d balloon simulation for example 6 masses connected by spring if the area is known.Where will i get the force to get a pressure?
Anyone know how to go about making the animation at 0.08?? Not really sure what else to google to find help 😅

you could create a collider of any shape you like and just inflate the balloon inside it. Hope thats what you are looking for
