+Carley O'Rourke I found that using carbon paper works well to get the basic design and I think it's a little more precise. I then go over it with a sharpie again to get more visible lines.

well I say. your dialog has been more enjoyable. I appreciate the knowledge I discovered ...all the while being able to concentrate more on the effects and viewing and not the audio fails.. nice work.

Javier, i was shocked to see that you didn't use some sort of drip system or other water source to keep the surface wet/damp. Is that because the sharpie might wash off? I worry about the glass dust myself. BUT it seems that water is helpful (you do wet your bit) and my creative drip system might not be as necessary as i had once believed it to be for basic lines. Thanks Again, your work is defiantly coming along. :D

Denise Desadier You're correct in deducing why I don't wet the whole surface, the design with the sharpie eventually fades and erases if I keep wetting it. I've found that to be the same if I handle the bowl/glass a little too much, even sharpie will eventually be erased from the glass. So what I do is wet the burr first, do the outline, and then when I'm ready to do the 'meat' of the project, I finally wet the whole bowl. I'm hoping one of my upcoming future videos will show that particular process better.

What tool did you use for this? I need something that is cheap but will function well without too much inaccuracy.

There was no point in moistened the burr eith the sponge. I promise as soon as it started rotating it dried. You should use a drip.
