@megumi f hmm well if i were to explain it as simply as possible, korean characters are made up of “units”. Each unit makes one sound, but can be formed by 2,3 or 4 parts. In some particular cases maybe more. So for example if he wanted to type 안 he would first have to type 아 but since the second unit is actually able to stand on its own, the program will register it as “wrong” until he adds in the ㄴ. You can kind of compare it to trying to write the word “cannot” but after you’ve only written “can” the program says it’s wrong until you finish the “not”. Obviously the example i gave in english doesn’t actually happen in the program because of the different ways the characters are made but yeah I hope you are able to understand my explanation 😅

I have the Magic Keyboard 1st gen and all I can say is that it’s one of the membrane keyboards that actually feel tactile (but of course mushy at the actuation).

It isn't actually a full membrane keyboard, due to the Switches inside... It's kind of (Similar to the Lenovo Compact Keyboard) between a Membrane and Mechanical Keyboard. (The Feeling) Of course technically it is a Membrane Keyboard

Am I the only one who thinks linear switches sound the best? I love the uninterrupted sound between the press and the clack. While I somewhat enjoy how clicky and tactile switches sound, they sound kind of messy and too complex if that makes any sense.
Jason Kentjana I recently got a ducky one 2 sf with cherry Mx blacks. I tend to press down hard on my keys (hence why I got blacks instead of reds). The clack when a key is fully pressed is the only feedback I personally need. Btw, I have only used clicky switches once, so I dint have much experience typing with them.

Apple keyboard is great keyboard functionality-wise though, and it has *insane* battery life, full day working and still a month of usage. The best low-profile keyboard in the market. It's just not..."fun" to use though because sometimes I just want to express myself by smashing the spacebar violently, and it's just can't.

I never tried linear myself. But I imagine it'd feel really bad to type on since you don't get that "click" feedback when a key have been pressed

Nah. For the Korean keyboard has one letter per key. It’s basically the same as English key oard
its because you gotta combine different keys to make 1 character. You would rarely hit the same key twice in row for Korean.
If you look at the words it's extremely obvious it's 1 click each time, his never tapping a key more than once
