They have Prince, Hachimura, Reddish, Vando, Vincent, Reeves, Wood, etc. I mean they can trade some of these pieces. Package it with Dlo perhaps.
@@kobefeliciano3972 Reeves and Rai off the bench are good options IF LA has starters that can play well enough to keep those guys just off the bench. Prince is not under contract and Cam can't play enough of a season to contribute. I like Vanderbilt off the bench hope to see him available all of this coming season. The issue in LA is even if they can move Rai / Cam / Hayes etc they won't get enough for them to upgrade the roster much. Maybe package the #17 + DLo and a couple other guys will get them a better option to start at PG or a decent BIG + bench player but they are not even close to contending in the West. For me right now the best case is win 45-48 games IF AD is healthy and LeBron can keep playing at a high level and hope that brings a 6 seed OR that they can win a first round series before getting bounced by a real West team
@@I.am_Groot I mean LA got a new coach now, I'm not saying JJ is a game changer but Ham cost the lakers maybe 5-10 games last season with those terrible adjustments, even in playoffs. I feel like if they get a great set of assistant coaches then that should be a good start. I agree that they are not competing with heavy hitters with that line up, but who knows. Look at Boston, almost every team they faced are not fully healthy.
I think they should trade that 17th pick for a quality player, package that with any player not named AD or Lebron.

Too many teams ready to compete in the West and Lebron (who's still regarded as their best player) is one year closer to 40. Lakers will be in that 8-12 seed range. They don't have high enough caliber "others" to make a real run.

The Lakers need to bring back D-Lo, Draft a point gaurd like Carter to play backup & sign a big like Valanciunas or Goga. Then package Gabe, JHS & 1 of Hayes or Wood along with a first & look for a good wing player. If we can stay healthy were a dangerous team with a few minor upgrades
