A teacher once told me, "In a debate about anything, when one person uses profanity, he has lost the argument.
i have no sympathy to what he represented. as a minister, world lost nothing - nobody has to suffer his presence ever again. in all fairness, as a guy, its probably a bad thing for his family - its never a good thing to have a loss in the family. i dont hate the guy, that would be hypocritical, i hate the kind of filth he represented.
Exactly what Shaggy said. If I or anyone else anywhere, spoke like Falwell, we would be ostracized and called bigots. However, this man did all of those things and got paid for it. Millions of people do good in this world, who help more people then this con-artist, and yet they take the train to work while this guy is riding around in his private jet destroying logic and reason through the promotion of the "good book." He was happy about gay people dying of AIDS because he thinks the good lord was punishing them for being gay which I think is totally wrong and he did some other stuff I hated when he was alive. So if you think it's wrong to speak ill of Jerry Falwell dying just think about how he spoke ill of the dead when he was alive.

You might want to think twice about what you punched on your keypad. The liberal community likes to hold Christians to the fire by using the "judgement" accusation against us. Calling attention to sin or bad choices in actions or language is no way condemning anyone. Positive or negative feelings should be channeled into something constructive, both word and work.
