Whenever I first saw Lillie in the trailers, I thought she was gonna be like a 3rd rival like in gen 5 or someone like dexio and sina but just as 1 character. But I was wrong, at the end, I ended up loving the character so much! Due to how kind lillie is and how she mentions how powerful and strong you are, I quickly fell in love to lillie. I wished lillie was real so I can hug her! or atleast see her in real life..but seeing the end of pokemon sun and moon just made me emotional. I cried, and cried, and cried. I understand she wants to help her mother. But still, like I was saying, I really love lillie! And Thank You Gamefreak For Creating A Character Like Lillie! My hopes and dreams about pokemon sun and moon is that we meet lillie in kanto for postgame. Or atleast give her a cameo in the next generation. I'm sure someone's already pointed this out a while back, but I just love how each of her themes are a testament to her character and how she develops through the main story. Like--yeah, you're the protagonist and all. But Lillie definitely takes the crown as the best character in the game in terms of development. Probably in the series alongside Wally in ORAS.
beating pokemon sun as an adult who never got a chance to play it as a kid really hurt me so hard. as a kid this gen was THE one that we thought we had in pokmeon yellow..omg, what i do to be a kid who experienced sun and moon as their first pokemon game. cherish those memories because i promise you theyll come back to you when were all older and wiser...

The definitive answer is that GameFreak realized how amazing Lillie's character was, that if she didn't move she'd stay as an emotionless NPC that did nothing but say 1 line every time you'd talk to her. They made her move to make the illusion she's on the move as we speak.
i like how its the same theme but it puts extra notes in and more instruments to show a emotion too being a scared girl with the fear of being taken back to her mother and she hurts nebby/cosmog to create a portal to a girl who breaking away from the fear to save her mother with the song being more upbeat like her rushing to get to her mom and save her then she finally has to save her mother with music that acts like a boss battle and the boss is her mom shes trying to free her from the ultra beasts prison and let go of her fear back to lillie having the same song similar to the first but her freeing herself from her fear shes finally ok and so its much more upbeat but still having the same song saying that shes free now and shes no longer the lillie thats all scared too the lillie thats more upbeat shes normal now the song is now happy that she now has her mother and brother with her now she finally has someone to talk someone to have fun with but now that shes broken away from all her fear she decides to move away to kanto to pursue her happiness to she has a path now she was walking in a forest no people or a way to get out of the forest since you couldnt see past the trees and bushes scared of bears to attack her to seeing the way out to a path out to go back to her normal life instead of being in the wilderness to her running away running away from all her fears to reach the path and she did it she got back on the path she has a way to get out of her fears break away from them and got on the path to lead her out shes finally free but the thing is there was no path she just made it out of the forest but no path to lead her no path to make her do this and that she nebbys with the trainer now she helped her mother she has no path to lead her so she walks she walks and she walks shes making her own path now
Lively Lillie is my favorite one. Her transformation from a scared little girl to an independent young woman breaking free from the biggest constraint of her life, a horrible mom, was so inspirational, I guess that's part of why Lillie is the best character in all of Pokemon in my opinion. A lot of people like her for her looks, I like her character story, she's not ugly, but I think of her as just a friend

For all the flak the gen 7 games got, the Story is honestly one of the better one in the franchise. At the center of it all, Lillie's character arc was great.

You would get to learn and grow in the same way that you did with Lillie, even though you would be a complete stranger at first, you will get to re-experience that first friendship.
