You have to look for a short lengths ones. The battery on these is crazy awful and there are no recharge stations

If you can't find it in quick job then sleep for a while and then you'll see it in quick job.

@@BarbosGaming the game has to refresh the jobs, when you quit the game and re-enter the jobs stay the same. If you do another job or sleep, they should refresh. Try until you get it.

suggestion, put the electric chargers in one of the service centre truck park bays instead of the petrol stations, or put them where you sleep on the map and have the option to charge the batteries or sleep.
This is actually an awesome Idea!
I tried it, I really like it, because when a car passes by me, the yellow light flashes on the instrument panel, but I don't dare to rely on the instruments yet! It can only be used in express transport, because it can only be used for short distances, but I am very sorry that it cannot be used as a private truck! It's interesting because it's quiet, and you can only hear the sound of the wheel when it starts!
Tried out the EV truck for a few runs. I like the quick and instantly responsive acceleration, quiet interior, the added weight of the battery pack makes the truck more stable and planted on high-speed turns (so less rollovers like on the other trucks), and because the braking is handled by the motor I don't have to worry about running out of air and immobilizing the truck after heavy brake usage.
I have often been told "electric vehicles have all the torque from the start" but then why does this need a 12 speed transmission? I tried sticking it in M 12 but it had hardly any torque. I also ironically managed to end up with diesel generators as my first load with this E-Tech.
Wondering the same. Electric cars don't have a transmission and AFAIK electric trucks don't either. Just why?
I don't have no experience from electric truck standpoint, but I do from game creating. My guess is the truck still uses the same transmission script from other diesel trucks, so it has 12 gears. It's either intentional or a bug need fixing.

@@JosueC730 electric cars can have transmissions.
@@Skullbrothers not saying it's impossible, just saying it's not the best case as it's inefficient as it gives less range than simply ommiting all those gears and controlling the torque and speed via software.

o caminhão é lento na arrancada, não tem torque, mesmo com um motor potente é estranho, entendo o freio ser progressivo, mas a aceleração ser lenta e assim, não vejo por que, já que motores elestricos são conhecidos pelo torque, liberrem um torque adequado e um cambio com P/R/N, já que motores eletricos não tem marchas, o caminhão parece cvt estragado, faz barrulho e não anda, lento que só.

Guys, GO TO SLEEP IN GAME, and check quck jobs after that and you'll find it. I did like the experience, it's a fun truck, and the sound reminds me of 18 WoS Across America, there was a Kenworth with similar sound back then :D
How's the acceleration? Any good, or yet another DAF?
@@thisfeatureisbad it's different, at low speed it's instant torque and you can feel that. and at high speed still pulls good ( BUT I had a light cargo, only 3 T ).
What I enjoyed the most is that it keeps the speed better (when not pressing the acceleration), it feel like it has a momentum pulling you forward. SCS did a good job implementing it trully as a different experience than a normal truck)
Never recommend this truck for the jobs that are over 300 KM. I was almost stranded in the middle of nowhere because the battery went low..
like their quick jobs are 100-120 miles (160-200 kms) long at most
it's good but I find it absurd not to be able to provide it...all because you haven't modeled the electric recharges...
if you want to take this truck out at least take the time to finish everything to delight the community instead of wasting everything!

The 12 speed transmission makes no sense whatsoever and this entire truck feels so half baked with no charging infra and etc. You could've released this truck after fixing all this

I just wanna know why this shitty event on ETS2 keeps not counting my deliveries from and into switzerland (CH)... there no different cityes requiriments on the event nor different cargos, the only thing they specify is the 200km + range and yet its never count my trip back to switzerland after i a delievery abroad, and now it didnt count one from Bern to Lion (370 ish km) (212) original.
If that's the qualitty of events SCS is going to put out im back to FF14 fuck this trash.

The car is certainly beautiful, the electricity is also good. But battery technologies have low efficiency, are expensive to create, and are very polluting.
I drive the diesel one & how come it doesn't display the total KM in the dash? I like to know how many KM the truck has done

I think the truck is great. True, it needs a bit of tweaking but honestly was an interesting experience.
The battery is super short and penalizes people for speeding.
From what I've heard there is a collision detector or something, since when I was driving in city I could sometimes hear a sound like a warning.
I don't think it should have gear transition since... it's electric? Then again, I don't have any clue about electric trucks.
While the start-up is super quick, the later acceleration is slow. The reverse acceleration is over-the-top.
The sound design is nice. You can barely hear the engine, and it's quiet enough for you to listen to song at peace, instead of deafeningly loud diesel.
Overall, I hope we'll get charging stations quick, so we can test these trucks in the open world and at much longer distances.
Keep a close eye on the average consumption. I achieve 815Wh/km on my first trip. Obviously zpeeding will be a bad idea due to aerodynamics becoming the dominant force
& yes obviously the full GSR2 compliance specification is present.

There is no MP5, the last MP is the MP3. The Actros was redeveloped after the Actros MP3, so there is no MP4 or MP5. The MP stands for Modell Pflege (Facelift) and is explained in a video why. The Actros 4, on the other hand, had editions (Editions 1 and 2). There are currently 3 editions of the Actros 5. The MP series was discontinued after the MP3 because, as already mentioned, the Actros was developed from scratch.

Have you tried a Quick Job with it? This thing's power runs super quick. I took a 213km job and truck's battery was almost gone. My guess is they will have to add electric charges at most of the stations, and seeing how long electric vehicles charge, it will probably skip a small bit of time and also replenish some of your tiredness.
@@PiniutLEGIT it has regenrative braking. You can do much more than 220km
@@Skullbrothers Yeah I figured it recently, it's not very consistent if you ask me, but I guess it depends how long you break and not how hard.
It should be on as a buyable truck.
this is exciting !! and I totally understand why it must only be quick jobs for now - there are no electric charging ("fuel" ) stations in the game and even then - they would probably need some kind of additional programing - so we will just need to wait for that !

Hey SCS, I've driven it and also watched other UA-camrs on the drive.
Electric trucks DO NOT have gear changes, but yet every acceleration, there's the air release Pst pst sound as if there's a gear change. It takes away the realism of driving as the air release sound is kinda generic sounding since the first version of ETS, and now with an electric vehicle it's suppose to just hear the motor sound but there's the air sound pst pst at where one would expect the gear shifting. Please do fix it, maybe update that air line sound.
Electric gear change works on the same script as the diesel one. It should probably be fixed soon-ish.

@chuayx7572 it is most likely an air operated clutch so no that probably won't work like that second off all I think it has gears to not overheat the engines as the more they have to work in the lower rpm the more heat gets generated but I'm not sure about that so don't take my words to seriously

Please add official SteamVR support. A lot of people have Quest2 and Quest3 and we would like to finally play in virtual reality without any problems. In the current situation this is not possible.
What do you mean not possible? I'm playing it with Quest 2 regularly without any problems. 1.50 made vr even better

The truck has slow acceleration, lacks torque, even with a powerful engine it's strange. I understand the brake being progressive, but the acceleration being slow is puzzling. Since electric motors are known for torque, release adequate torque and a gearbox with P/R/N, as electric motors don't have gears. The truck seems like a broken CVT, it's noisy and doesn't move, just slow.

SCS Software I think I've come up with a smart-genius event for you and the players:drive-in cinemas 🤔pass, it is necessary to take with you a load of information (film cassettes) for the projector that will show the film, and bring it to the point where the drive-in cinema zone will be located,but the site must be made large and with markings,you can test it in American Truck Simulator there is a lot of space where it can be built and then ETS will be possible,the reward is to come up with something interesting in the interior of the salon and the style outside,and such events will be possible to do more often because there are many, many films😉I think it will attract new players to the game because every such event will be a new movie and most importantly, don't forget to make the sound as good as in the yard,love you SCS Software 👍and don't forget to set a timer for when the movie starts streaming
With this truck, the lousy and incompetent sound engineers have had to do less work than ever before.
The only plus is acceleration, but I would like to see an electric truck from Volvo
please fix the bug in steam library that the game still show running after leaving the game, i think it is the game problem not steam problem because my other game in steam and the previous version of ets 2 didn't have this problem

First to see the electric truck has been added to ETS2, It is a good news. But I have to say, as a trucker who has a DD steering wheel, I can feel the FFB engine shake is still working while driving the E-tech Truck, and the FFB can transpot to my hands cleanly due to it is DD wheel. Imagine that you're driving an Electric truck but you can feel the shake from diesel engine. What a weird situation
SCS has to do extra Research and develop an independent logic system for e-trucks, dont use the traditional logic system

This truck has a failed side collision sensor. When a right-hand drive truck is driven, it reverses the position of the collision side on the vehicle's dashboard.

I’m driving this truck as a mod right now and I’m seeing how it holds up over a long period of ownership. If there are any bugs I’ll find them. I own a Tesla and I have to say I’ve been looking forward to electric trucks for a while. The mod I have uses an extra large battery as an option because of no charging infrastructure but this is fine for now (at least no range anxiety). I’ll update this comment if I find any bugs on my long trip from the north of England to turkey.
First Issue I’ve encountered is that the truck adds energy recuperated even when accelerating and takes away energy regenerated when regenerating which will be a major issue in long trips. It could also be something to do with the extra large battery pack I have on the test truck I’m using but it seems that when a downshift happens and more regen is needed the truck can’t process it. Do not use this truck with heavy cargo as right now it can’t regenerate energy correctly with heavy cargo attached.
Turns out the big battery pack was the issue as the owner of the mod seems to have made it so it regenerates no matter what to give it extra range. Sorry SCS, The truck works perfectly.

Quick jobs and then randomly try other filters, as there are very few jobs with these.
There is mods that make you buy the truck but you can put gas in it but it works and does the same as the truck but it is just gas
