I think your definition of assassin is too focused on show placement. A lot of queens are amazing performers that just didn’t do well on the show. For example seeing Mayhem in the thumbnail surprised me, because anyone who’s seen her preform (in person or online) knows she’s amazing.
being an amazing performer is not all that is required to be a lipsync assasin and by ru's definition of one all the girls mentioned did not fit RU's own definiton.
Bringing up Sasha Colby as a lip sync assassin with only one win doesn’t really make sense when she was known as one before she even got on the show lol
So for All Stars 6, the only assassins you didn't approve of were Jessica and Mayhem, whilst acknowledging that Jessica was still a good choice because she's a great performer outside of the show. So saying that things went "off the rails" with AS6 was a bit of an exaggeration...
The disrespect to mayhem was crazy, shes literally a drag legend and one of the best performers outside of the show, it’s why everyone already knew who she was when she entered season 10
I actually don't have a problem with Mayhem being a lipsync assassin. I love her, but Yuha got destroyed in that lipsync. I also think she's an iconic performer outside of the show. It's mainly due to her eyes, but I'd still say she's a magnetic performer. I'd classify her on the lower end of the assassin list, but I don't think it was a bad choice to have her back. Plus, she gave us one of the best lipsync performances against Ginger with Phone, so I'm not mad. I think Jessica Wild, Nicky Doll, and Shannel were the weirdest choices.
I was so excited when Alyssa was a lip sync assassin against Shea in AS5 because I thought it would be a lip sync for the ages... then she did whatever that was 😐😐😐

If you think about the theme of s6 being redemption, i think all the assassins fit perfectly that Way :) I don’t like to think some queens are “worthy” and some aren’t, but it’s very apparent that all the assassins are WOW-favourites. Just look at How many of them have appeared on All-Stars later.

Even though they are memorable, RPDR doesn't have a lot of assassins. It is also a promotional platform for queens who will compete in future seasons or for someone like Nicky Doll, who has made a name for herself on the franchise.
I feel like only winning one lipsync doesn't make you an assassin- unless that was the only time they got to lipsync in the franchise, like in the case of Sasha Colby, where they COULD be an assassin, but just haven't had the chance to show that on the show. is not a lipsync assassin. You're not an assassin if you can only manage to take out your target when circumstances just so happen to fall into place.
The queen's performances in challenges incorporating lipsyncing and dancing on their season may not be a bottom 2 placement but should still matter in this decision. Talent show numbers like Aja's should have been considered a win. Angeria won her Talent show episode with a lip sync. Queens that have won Rusicals could be considered assassins.
A queen qualifications for a lip sync assassin are winning a least one lip sync/ iconic performance even if losing/ close call results (both could have had been a double save)/ or a very well rounded performer

Especially as she did well in Holi-Slay and had good reputation outside the show as well. This is also why I am not fully mad at Jessica being included, because her growth outside the show, shown how fierce of a performer she is. 7:00 It's also important to mention that both lipsyncs where she lost - her performance was top-notch. Easily could have been double stays/wins and usually happened due to other reasons, or being slightly worse than her competitors (at least for the storyline reasons). 7:45 I do also feel like previous winners (especially for All Stars I loved when they brought girl who just won main season) and hosts - this is understandable position to have them on, even if they weren't assassins themselves. I do feel like the label was misused from the very beginning. As term assassin always have been put for the top of the top performers and I don't think there is enough of girls for that to not repeat the same people every season. Easily should have given them different label. Also I really wish we gonna get Bianca lipsync at some point, like come on - that would have been such a gag, especially as that was good enough song for her. 7:55 Pangina has also reputation, always being the performance based judge on her season.
