I.e. retribution paladin versus arms and maybe expanding on the Cc, DPS, survivability and the nuances of each class.

I find fury much harder to play because there are more abilities you have to constantly track procs and short CD’s for wheras for arms is pretty simple, slow in terms of CD’s and completely the opposite of fury which is all button mash class imo. I’d put fury up there with enhancement shaman in terms of how much focused you have to be to play.
I tried fury but im doing something wrong cause I cannot attack anyone all the hits take forever i switch to arms and suddenly im good again all my hit optinos are available like rage is high or whatever its called. I wanted to dry Fury cause i am a fan of two hand but I cannot attack at all under it, it takes forever
If WF Guilds starts to stack a lot of warrior it's probably because of the necro fury meta , the buff is quite strong and in theory it's our best covenant.

One question.. whats your take on necro fury? currently it seems really strong in sims (Skyhold discord) and tbh, just have Marileth and Emeni setup for ST / AoE and you dont need HS out for conduit swaps at all... Banner bonus with Glory with your personal dps high aswell.. seems win win situation.. more than cheesy venthyr..
It's highly likely that once you have 4pc +2leggo, necro fury will be meta if the fight is (1) high uptime and (2) single target. From my personal testing I was still seeing just slightly better results with other covenants, but that's with 9.1.5 gear plus tier/2x leggo, and there are a number of limitations that hitting training dummies has that sims don't. higher ilvls of conduits will benefit necro a lot too because veterans repute is huge. For AoE I personally saw more success with kyrian fury, though if the targets never move then nightfae can be very strong too. Archimtiros puts a lot of work into creating his pre-patch simulations. his numbers should be used along side my personal testing, and the testing of all other warrior theorycrafters giving their opinions/analysis.
@@CautexWoW Don't disagree with you much here but don't completely sleep on Necrolord AOE. It primarily depends on how the encounter works but you can pull off good numbers with Heirmir at the expense of one potency Conduit (which does hurt), however Carver's Eye giving you nearly 700 Mastery is good for burst.
Warriors will be taken mostly due to rallying cry being so op. Even max said that its like AMZ in nathria. So it might not be cause of dps, but for the raid cd, that warriors get taken

In your statement about windfury you forget to include the bonus fury gets from its already buffed autos. They pull ahead of arms even with the theoretical 8% increase.
Forgot to add, this does not make fury strictly better. Just means that gearwise, fury will be capable of more but overall 3% is enough variance for player skill to be an overall factor
I struggle hard with the usage of either raging blow or bloodthirst depending on my enrage status cause I cant keep good track of it. Does either setbonus or double leggo change anything about prio of Theese two abilities or do I simply have to get good? 😅
Because of the extra charge of raging blow + it proc'ing recklessness, most of the time you will be spamming RB inbetween rampages, and only using BT when you run out of charges. it doesn't change the prio, but there will be fewer times that you'll need to decide between RB/BT.
I don't really agree with the take that Fury needs to make many changes to work in AOE vs ST. I'm assuming you mean swapping to DR/SB vs BS/AM (and maybe Massacre)? Putting aside Covenants, based on usage stats you'd really only primarily have to sub out Dragon Roar for Bladestorm, as Siegebreaker is a minority pick to barely ahead off Anger Management even on the more ST oriented bosses right now, and if we take the 4pc of Fury into account (which makes RA more valuable for non-Necrolords) then the changes for ST vs AOE become smaller and smaller. Depending on *when* we're talking about (pre/after double Lego) then you might not even have to swap Legendaries, even on KT and Soulrender EM is the majority pick and certainly performs comparably to Signet. On another note I want to note smth: the most important testing is really "mid-raid" (1 Legendary/2pc) and fully 9.2 geared. Obviously pre-2pc we don't need to test for, but (and this depends on the difficulty of Heroic and Mythic Lords of Dread/Rygelon/Jailer) by the time most people have 4pc they will have two Legendaries. It's actually fairly conceivable to me that some unlucky people will even reach 2 Legos before completing 4pc. Therefore I think these two tests are the most important because they are the most relevant for progressing bosses for the majority of people, though of course not quite so for the RWF.
Who needs to push 4 buttons 100500 times in a fight, when you can get the same dps through biggg diggg arms, and spent a free time to do mechanics or for tea. Efficiency(dps/your energy) of arms much stronger than fury, it is fact. Imagine that you need to lift two bags on the 5th floor, will you do it twice by one bag or once with 2 bags? The same history here. To do 10k dps as fury I need to push much more and and must spend a lot more energy in comparison with playing as arms. Moreover arms cooldowns is perfect 45s+45s, 1.5 min + 1.5 min + 1.5 min(crystal). It means 5 burst in first pack, 2 in second, 5 in third, 2 in fifth. Arms 💋

In terms of fun I like Fury much more. It does require less thought and skill but I honestly hate waiting for abilities to come off cooldowns

Second vote for fury, both fae and kyrian fury will dominate. The conistent high aoe is just nasty.

Since you made this video, Fury 2 piece set bonus got nerfed from +15% raging blow damage to +10%.
