We were looking to move there cause we want to be beach bums but when I was studying the neighborhoods that are rated orange and red with crime,we are staying put for now in our green community with no crime here in Ms originally from Chicago and don't want that again.
Great point! The sand is one of the best parts. I’ve been to many beaches and the sand is not the same, or like Miami which actually has to bring in the sand from offshore, ours is natural 😊 I did not know that about the Appalachia’s. Thank you.

Have you ever heard the expression" when in Rome"? The majority of society doesnt go to a beach town to eat enchiladas! I am sure you can push yourself to do a google search for non seafood places to eat. Do you need to be spoon fed everything in your life or are you a capable grown up? LAZY !
Besides waiting on the Apartment information video, can you discuss the real cost of owning a home in Florida in the Pensacola area? Now that it's mandated that all homes in the whole state require flood insurance and while having a mortgage you need to be covered by insurance and have a new roof on every ten years or so adding to the cost. I would love to know more about this stuff
I didn’t forget about you! Hoping to get the rental/apartment video done soon. So as bad as it sounds the flood insurance is not necessarily a bad idea, and it’s technically only required on government backed financing/lending. But, unless you live in a flood zone or right on the water, it won’t really raise your insurance that much at all. Most homes are not in a flood zone and so the insurance cost is minimal and gives peace of mind. Roofs are definitely a pain in the butt, ideally when you buy a home you want the roof to be newer ish. But I’ve sold many homes and the buyers get insurance even when they’re over 10 years old (but it might raise the price a little). Insurance in general has become a huge issue not only in Florida but in general. Helps to have a newer home for sure. My home is over a 100 years old (I love it) but insurance is not fun at all haha.

Tell them that it has the emerald sand that does not burn your feet, u can walk on it, and it came flowing downward from the Appalachia’s.
