I am still in the coding learning phase and as much as I enjoy writing code I realize I need to give to my brain a break at times ... Thanks for sharing this balanced approach
0:47 Don't indulge in cheap processed food, choose brown Flour/Rice instead of the White ones, because it digests slower, and you get consistent supply of energy 1:43 Do not Overeat 2:27 Exercise. It keeps you energetic and Sharp throughout the day. Start small. But be consistent. Large goals may stop you from even starting! 3:15 Don't be static all day. Move around, from time to time, rather than sitting at one place for hours. Maybe Use ergonomic keyboards, standing desks etc. 3:51 Work on projects that you care about That's all you need for now. Remember the 80/20 rule: In this case, 80% of the Productivity & Energy gains you'll have will come from the little changes you'll bring to your life. Just stay consistent. And, one tip from me: When you do something, or is assigned a task, try to do it with perfection. Don't be mediocre. It'll pay off, maybe 5 years from now, but it will. Be so good that you can't be ignored.
Try carnivore and then you'll never have any down energy However if this is your first time expect wild symptoms for the first 2-3 weeks including insane withdrawal symptoms and outright depression (even if you've never been depressed before) Carbs are the most addictive substance in existence, and they reek havoc in your body
For me the single biggest change I made to my productivity and staying power was switching to neovim. 25 years too late in my career really, but simply moving away from the mouse had a huge impact on how long I can actually stay at the keyboard. It was the constant keyboard->mouse right hand movement that not only is physically draining due to the repetition several times a minute (my overall enjoyment at work was night and day once I'd realised what the issue was) but interrupts your train of thought way more than you know until you try it.
For some this is a mandate rather than a choice. I’ve definitely slept with my laptop many times. I’m surprised sleep wasn’t on the list, but after a day of coding I might have missed that part 😋
Lol best cheat code. Didn't even think of that 😂😂😂. So busy worrying about getting it perfect. My mind's in optimisation mode without first trying to JGIW. JUST GETTING IT WORKING.

Hey, what learning processes can you recommend to me? I have a little hard time retaining some of the information that I'm learning.
If you're a real coder the code takes over and you forget to sleep or eat or drink.
you must be very young
@@noJobProgrammer you must be sh*t programmer.
Haha
I’m a first year CS student, and I try to code for 1/2h a day. I’m currently learning Java and DBC(Data Base Connection) and some Spring

I thought this video would be about coffee
My brain can only capture 30 minutes of coding .
Fantastic advices. I agree with all of them.
Isnt coding mostly debugging?
How long should I go for a jog a day if I want to make a habit to jog every day?
I run based on distance. A few years ago, I could only run 100m. Now I do 5k regularly. Slowly build up to a level you're satisfied with.
@@TomGregoryTech serious question: don't you worry about ankles or knees? I mean I am +40 too and only do long walkings...
@@ivanocj Yeah, that's why I limit my running to four times a week.
@@ivanocjswim, if you can. I switched from running to swimming in my 30s and my joints feel better than they did in my 20s
I use the same keyboard ❤😊
Just use AI in the afternoon, the wins will give you motivation to work and you will feel good about yourself

How about source code quality?
@@noJobProgrammer use good AI
The secret: don't. Even if you can manage it now, you're trading your future health. Life is a marathon, not a sprint.
