Looks nice, I'm wondering if the spawn for the monsters is random or static. Some randomness would make for some nice replayability. Otherwise the predictability could become boring real fast.

Pretty sure they're static, although the devs have talked about adding procedural missions at some point during Early Access.

Nah. Kind of adds to the whole "you need to take care of the whole cast thing", it would be much easier if the idle characters could protect themselves since that means they're better than you then. Makes it harder when you have to take care of them.
