    Following this make me realize why those 4k or 2k vid tend not to be so long like 1 hrs up. Sure, You got higher resolution but they also required really large space. So I think I would stick to 1080p from now on because I have to leave space for other software too lol.

    I recorded a gameplay video with 1080p and 30fps settings.
    Should i export the video 1440p? I heard it somewhere that it would be more beneficial for 1080p videos to be encoded as 1440p.

      You can export your 1080p@30fps video as 1440p@30fps video to get vp9 codec on youtube. The quality of your upload will be much better compared to 1080p upload

    Hello, I’m having some issues with my 4k60fps uploads on UA-cam, on smart tv’s it only renders them at 1440p, on any other devices (pc, phone) works fine. The files are at 100 mbps bitrate, exported from premiere pro, gopro10 is the source. VP9 is the codec used on the smart tv when played.

    I have a question again. I changed some settings on my screen recorder (obs) and now my video files save at 1080p60fps. UNFORTUNATELY, whenever I try uploading it to UA-cam, the fps and resolution DRASTICALLY dropped again. So now, I know it's now the file, but I think it's the website itself. Do you have any way to fix this, because I can't keep making crap quality content. '-'

    Let's say I record gameplay in 1080p 60 fps in 15 Mbps and I want to upscale it to 1440p, so will 1440p 70Mbps upscaled look decent though?

    • @SoftwareGeek
      @SoftwareGeek  Рік тому +2

      This is pointless. If your source video is recorded with 15 mbps bitrate then you don't need to increase the bitrate value when rendering. It only makes your file bigger size without any quality improvement

    • @SoftwareGeek
      @SoftwareGeek  Рік тому +1

      If you export 1080p 15mbps video as 1440p 15mbps video and upload it to youtube you will see the difference. All 1440p videos get VP9 codec in UA-cam which is much better than avc1 which is default for 1080p uploads. So in your PC both 1080p@15 mbps video and 1440p@15mbps video will be the same quality but when you upload it in youtube you will definetely see the difference. But I recommend to capture gameplay videos with more bitrate

    • @Jakiyyyyy
      @Jakiyyyyy Рік тому +2

      @@SoftwareGeek Thanks but 15Mbps is the sweet spot for me since I recording it on the same device and to minimize the performance loss when playing. Also to not upload 1080p on UA-cam. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
