Hi there, hope u can help please.... when my B300 battery arrived it contained some juice already - which I've since used and its now empty. BUT how do I refill it? I can't get it to talk to my AC200MAX, and I have the connecting cable inserted properly (having checked that many times). So how do I get fresh solar juice into the B300? There doesn't appear to be any socket to directly attach my solar panels to it, and my AC200MAX won't communicate with it...., it could be useless or it could be me. I could charge via AC from my domestic plugs but what's the point in that? I bought it to obtain free solar, but what am I doing wrong? How do I get my AC200MAX to talk to it - I've tried various things..... also how do I get my panels to input juice to this B300, there's no socket in which to insert the panel cables? I can't even see the B300 when I switch on the Bluetti App, as opposed to tapping the screen. Would be SO grateful for your help.

Ac units can have a spike of around 2 x the rated running power on initial power up . The bluettie has capability to absorb some of this but if this initial spike is too big can cause errors and shut down. Installing a soft start on the ac compressor can get rid of the problem. My guess is a 2000w ac unit is going to need a soft start. Even if it doesn’t one should be installed to help protect the generator from these inital spikes

So we’re you running this thing as hard as it would go all the time? I have the BLUETTI EB200 (and another on the way). I have never had any issues with mine or I would refrained from purchasing a second one. Just for the record, my unit is very similar to the AC200P, only it has some minor differences and cosmetically it’s more like a beefier version of the EB70S.
Anyways, I’m wondering if you were constantly maxing out your wattage or close to it for a long time. Which I guess that’s not an “excuse,” but it’s kind of like a car. Just because you can drive it with the pedal to the floor… doesn’t mean you should do that, especially all the time. I feel like I’m probably a bit softer on the demands I am placing on my devices, so I don’t foresee this being an issue for me.
