Thanks for the review - recently purchased the AC200MAX and use it to power my garage/shop with 4-100 watt panels to keep the unit charged. Wired it into my sub-panel. Fortunately my location in the mountains has good sunshine about 83% of the year. The unit as is does have its limitations to power heavy duty tooling - however has no issues with powering, all my lighting, my CNC table as well as other small machine tooling. One note to consider - I have two garage doors and the openers consume about a 1000 watts per day, (50% of the battery power), in their static mode - therefore I have a separate switch to de-energize both units when not in use.

Love the breakdown on the difference between the two units!
Just a heads up, I was able to get my Nissan Leaf to charge off of a Bluetti AC200P by using a 'Neutral-Ground bonding plug'. They are relatively cheap and typically used for generators.

We also have an ac max and b230 super. This in combination with 3 panels of 400 watts. Already we have

These units are great. I got one over the summer for emergency use. It's the easiest way to get into the game. The bad part is that it then creates an itch for you to scratch. 🤣What can I plug into it? How long will it go for? What do I need to make it go for longer? How many solar panels can I plug into it? It's a great first step if a few rackmount batteries and a 6kw inverter is out of your price range.

I can confirm once you by it, you get the itch....my gf laughs when she walks into the room to see me plugging random shit into it to see what it draws and how long it would run for if power goes 😂

Great video thank you! It looks like a great system well thought out except for one major thing and that is the gigantic ridiculously huge connecting cord. Some kind of an intergrated heavy duty electrical connector/latch combination that would automatically connect when you set the battery on top of the unit would be much nicer and take up much less room.

That would have been a nice connection!

"I do like the AC200MAX but The biggest downside is that when you have the expansion battery packs
connected, and you discharge this whole system to zero, it will turn off
    the expansion pack."

Very informative. I will have to say, Bluetti missed the mark on the design of the connection/expansion cable. Maybe redesigned with right angle plugs and shorter. Or better yet, a built in connection like Richard Wilson mentioned below.

Thanks for the review of the AC200MAX but I do find it a bit big and cumbersome. It would be difficult moving it around.

I agree, but that's what you get with a big battery.

How long will it take to charge up one of those battery at a starbucks? lol. either way, this is cool but not yet ready for powering a house. It's getting there though, and quick too.

What is the min of watts to charge the ac max by solar energy

    • @thehelm4n
      @thehelm4n Рік тому

It will take any amount as long as you feed it 12/24v and 16A maximum ( I think) I started with 200w of AliExpress pannels and it worked fine. You can go up to 900w solar charge but I do use 600 and it seems to be the soft spot for where I'm at 😊

@@darbinorvar nice! i was maybe almost 30 when i realized the advantages of being multilingual, and not sticking only to English all the time... whenever we'd visit relatives in India during my childhood, i was always mocked as the 'foreigner' kid who spoke only english, and didn't understand a word my relatives said...

This company has significant QA QC issues with their product. Mine came damaged out of the box and I have spent months trying to get technical support. Byer beware.

They ship via Amazon's warehouse network. They're the culprits for damages and issues imo

Hello . I ask you for help. In Ukraine, there is an aoyna of constant blackouts. Frost came to Ukraine. Our family does not have the opportunity to buy such a device. Big problems with money. Our heating depends on light. The family is cold. I beg you, I beg you, if you have such an opportunity to buy such a device for my family, I will be grateful to you in the fall. Please help. I beg your pardon for the impudent forgiveness. There's just no way out.
