Based on GrandTheftAero's video of MW12's cut content, Criterion were planning on making it a sequel to the first game. I guess you did have to race the M3 GTR at the end, which would've been amazing. I guess they cut out the whole story and made the M3 in a DLC. We could've had so much more
@@minignoux4566 The thing is, all the cars are from 2011/2012, and the tech like what we saw in the builds should _not_ have existed in 2005/2006. NFS canon is weird.
You can see the full early MW12 map on 4:05, as well as removed "Golden Meadows" location. However, it's already not present as the actual place on this build.
Idk what is official, but good content. I am enough theory creativity for "games", its just a entertainment things that some people make. Thx for the content.

Spoilers for ppl who new the game or who didnt bought DLC yet.. the track call *Finale* was reuse and renamed as *Around The World* from Ultimate Speed Pack (i think or maybe its free, cant tell).
But you'd have to wonder were we playing the protagonist of MW 2005 or was it someone new, because if it was the hero protagonist, you might wonder "who is the hell is driving M3 GTR?"
Based on NFSMW2012 Beta. The dispatch mentioned "Driver identified to be a Rockport Fugitive, Driver remains Most Wanted" it can savely assumes that the player returns playing the same hero fron MW2005. The one who will drive the BMW M3 GTR could be the main antagonist of the beta who somehow managed to steal the car after it was wrecked from NFSC, this maybe could be serves as a plot twist just like how Mercer drives the BMW M3 GTR in Heat. This final race could be a mean of taking back the car from him kinda how simillar we take it back from Razor except this time in a very brutal way despite now we have weapons attached to our car. However due this build seems enter the state where the sequel concept, storyline, weapons and other ambitious things were scrapped... The driver for both player and the M3 GTR driver are random persons and the race are just a cheapskate fan service rather than an element of surprize
After I've beaten konigseg afera driver, i fought I'll get at least a cutscene where I'm gratulated for being the best, but no. This game has no ending.
Does anyone know what the song is as the race starts? I'm hoping it's a real full-length song and not just something Criterion themselves made for this intro!
Watching this, the color palette, the different vibe and atmosphere, what could have been the actual mw2, it's actually making me emotional lol, but mw2012 will always have a great place in my heart because of the memories, and how cool the multiplayer was :)
I'm using the same version as you for the build, and I ain't got any lag but the audio sounds like someone keying a car but bass boosted. How'd you fix this?
this race isn't deleted. it was brought back but renamed "around the world" for the ultimate speed DLC pack
yeah and the M3 GTR was supposed to be the boss race. Mainly "ATW Race" + "M3 GTR DLC Boss Race". They should've kept that.

It was due to the beginning of EA's greed that made Criterion failed to honour Black box's game which is the 05 one

This race in the sven-test build, actually had racer cars as cops, (probably meant to chase the player with mob like nfstr)

How did you get smooth performance? I have the custom one & it literally lags like 10fps & i have a strix rx 580 on a intel core i5 9400f
Open the debug map in the game and disable "environment map", as it showed on the video
