Mita ji l repotted my bird of paradise plant today ..... dipped the plant in water and took off all the sticky clayey soil following all the steps u hav shown. I m happy with the result. Very informative video, in the nursery I do not know how they are able to grow in clay soil. If we didn’t repott it , most probably we will loss the plant. You have done right thing by repotting it

Last week l had repotted my Nursery bought Croton that was in clay soil , exactly as you showed us in your video, but it completely dried up and died in the last 4 days, inspite of the fact that it was doing well immediately after repotting. l am really disheartened.

No exaggerations in the working. Maine 2 Rudraksha Plants spring season mein flower show mein se khareede they. Dono black plastic bags mein red soil mein lage hue they. Ek marr gaya, shayad jaise aapne bataya ki roots chal nahi paateen solid non-porous soil mein ya fungus/over watering/pests/hot summers ke chalte. Ek bacha hua hai us hi plastic bag aur red soil mein, slowly growth bhi kar raha hai. Usko repot karna hai. Kyonki Rudraksha basically Himalayan region ka plant hai to root disturb hone se shayad na chal paye, darta hun. Therefore please convey the best and successful method of repotting it. What timing mita... I too got two crotons from nursery a week back and one of them is wilting... I think I will repot this weekend....hopefully it doesn't die before...i have cocopeat n cowdund manure...i can get sand from a building that's being constructed nearby...can I mix all three with normal soil? You're very expert in this. I don't understand why such plants survive so well in nurseries coz they never repot it after buying as wholesale. I had bought jade (variegated), kept it for few days and after removing the clay soil and repotting, it died. Made me feel isse Acha to ussi me rehne dete. I have bought few more plants which are surviving and m too scared to repot them.
Hi Ameet I use Bevestine or Saaf. These are brand names you can use what is easily available to you Mix 1 teaspoon in 1 ltr water and give it to plants

Hi Sumita do not repot your Gerbera now. Whenever plant is in clay soil then while repotting do not disturb total root ball just expose roots a little bit so that they get space to grow

All most all.the plants purchased from nurseries have this problem. The pocketted plants have clay or red soil with out any sand mixing. So they are very hard which result in water stagnation and also block speedy root gro wth. So the plants would die after planting.
Hi dear it depends where the nurseries are getting plant from. If you see my 2nd potting I have not disturbed the root ball because soil was OK In gurgaon there are few pants which are in clay

Hi Jyoti preferably repot in spring or in rainy season. Its hot now. Keep the plant in shade and do not give anything to plant except water. (Do not overwater)

Obviously, its planted in completely clay soil. its a huge pot (the plant is about 4 feet high) and I dont know how to remove the plant from it to melt the clay and repot the plant. Please kuch guide kariye.
Hi Ashmita do not give water and let it dry then make it in lying down position and tap the pot a little. The whole plant will come out. Once you take out the plant put it in water and do not remove all the soil. Only remove little bit so that roots are exposed and total root ball is not disturbed

Hello Mitaji..I recently purchased 3 new plants, 1 is fully in cocopeat and 2 are in soil, I don't know whether it is clay, it's red and very hard. Dries up in a day, even though plants are in indirect light. I'll have to repot in the way you have shown, but I'm always scared of repotting, many plants don't recover well even though I do as gently as possible without damaging roots.
Hi Sweta seems to be clay so you will have to repot it .For longer period it will be beneficial. Your success rate will become better with experience. I also killed few initially. In Cocopeat it will not die but will not grow so repot 👍👍
Hi Deep its a very delicate plant and summers & winters are tough for this plant. Keep in shade amongst other plants Repotting time is best in Spring or rainy season

Hi dear if soil has not much clay then do not remove total root ball . Just expose the lower roots so that palnt can grow

I don't understand why such plants survive so well in nurseries coz they never repot it after buying as wholesale.
I had bought jade (variegated), kept it for few days and after removing the clay soil and repotting, it died.

Hi Sumita do not repot your Gerbera now. Whenever plant is in clay soil then while repotting do not disturb total root ball just expose roots a little bit so that they get space to grow

All most all.the plants purchased from nurseries have this problem.
The pocketted plants have clay
or red soil with out any sand mixing. So they are very hard which result in water stagnation and also block speedy root gro wth. So the plants would die after planting.
Hi dear it depends where the nurseries are getting plant from. If you see my 2nd potting I have not disturbed the root ball because soil was OK

Keep the plant in shade and do not give anything to plant except water. (Do not overwater)

hi mam, I also got a plant (Areca Palm) from nursery 3-4 months back, it grew well for couple of months but then started to die out (browning leaves). Obviously, its planted in completely clay soil. its a huge pot (the plant is about 4 feet high) and I dont know how to remove the plant from it to melt the clay and repot the plant. Please kuch guide kariye.
Hi Ashmita do not give water and let it dry then make it in lying down position and tap the pot a little. The whole plant will come out. Once you take out the plant put it in water and do not remove all the soil. Only remove little bit so that roots are exposed and total root ball is not disturbed

Hello Mitaji..I recently purchased 3 new plants, 1 is fully in cocopeat and 2 are in soil, I don't know whether it is clay, it's red and very hard. Dries up in a day, even though plants are in indirect light. I'll have to repot in the way you have shown, but I'm always scared of repotting, many plants don't recover well even though I do as gently as possible without damaging roots.
Hi Sweta seems to be clay so you will have to repot it .For longer period it will be beneficial. Your success rate will become better with experience. I also killed few initially. In Cocopeat it will not die but will not grow so repot 👍👍

Ma'am mere iss plant pr hee yellow color ke creepers aarhea hai , vo sare plant mey spread hoorha hai . Everytime I remove it , it regrows again . Saare plant ko vo jakar rha hai . My plants are dying please help me out .

Hi Amit croton se nahi aai . Yeh Amar Bel hai ho sakta hai kisi ne phek di ho. Isko physically nikkal kar plythene mein ddal kar door phenk kar aaiye jahana girti hai wahin se grow ho jaati hai
