What a true British hero! He's a hard-core nutter of the highest order, he literally runs on speed and adrenaline. Combine all that with being a genuinely sound and down to Earth bloke.

I can't understand how musicians have been knighted and not this man. Something is very wrong here.
Compared to a musician (music) whos art reaches and maybe change lifes of thousands and maybe more people (including record breaking individuals), what is the added value for humanity that these records bring? I could see the added value to humanity if new technologies would emerge as a result.
PS: Not a hate speach, I appreciate people like him, I am just curious.
If Guy was knighted he'd be like Lewis Hamilton, don't call me sir.
Still it would be great to see him knighted, he's done so much and is a bloody good inspiration.
@@THSonGoogle he will more than likely inspire a whole generation of youngsters to achievements in Engineering and technology (Something in the UK, even with it's history of engineering and technological firsts has been dumbed down and belittled by Government education policy and the media, who by and large are technically illiterate) and those 'new technologies' may be the result. some UA-cam channels are the saviour for those that like a bit of technical detail in their viewing - mainstream TV doesn't seem to realise the potential as usually the decision makers are those without an ounce of technical or engineering know how and seem determined to aim for the lowest denominator. Even these programs with Guy could've been much more informed or even some extra programs detailing the technical stuff as the engineering is amazing - after following Guy for a while (TT racer/Roadrace/HGV Gearbox fitter - it's probably the reason why Guy does this.

I’m not talk. All these records mean nothing. They mean nothing at all without the TT under his belt. It’s time for a guy to go back to the isles of man and take that TT.
Guy is the sort of man who is happy to spend a week riding a motorbike at over 200mph on the STREETS (NOT a purpose built racetrack) around the Isle Of Man and then go back to his day job of repairing lorries, which he also loves.

I've been riding bikes and driving cars for over thirty years and it's about the most fun you can have with your clothes on and about as rock n roll without having to learn a guitar!

To be honest Guy Martin would have been a great choice for Wolverine (height would have been much nearer the actual story, Jackman was way too tall for the role). Not sure he could have been angry enough though, Jackman knocked that one out of the park.
