Hello sir, I did the same approach but did not consider empty packets after my 9th packet. So I assumed the whole window of packet 7,8,9 would be retransmitted and hence total 18 packets i.e. option (D). Although I believe that's definitely incorrect. Plzz confirm.. plz reply🙏🙏

Answer i am getting is 15. Because as per question , acknowledgments are never lost but every 5th packet from sender side are lost

you have to consider the empty packets after 9th packet. Every time the sender gets acknowledgement from receiver, the window slides.
