Thanks Jim, I have just done this on mine and your instructions were great. Just one thing I did different was to use a straight edge on the top and bottom of the mesh to get a cleaner bend and it helps seat it better while you use the flathead to shape the sides.
Thanks for the video! How was the cooling after installation? I calculatet diffrent Rhombic sizes (compairable to the one you're using) and it always covers about 60% of the former airway. So I figured there is good potential for overheating or cooling loss at least? Did you notice anything?
They are made by a company called Free Spirits, they offer 60mm, 80mm, and 100mm variants that all come with a black shift rod. I have the 80mm version, I'm 5'11" and absolutely love them!
You'd probably be safe starting with something about 12" x 18". I think the piece I ordered off Amazon was like 4' x2' and it was plenty for 4 of these
I actually have enough aluminum left for 2 more bikes, but you'd need to cut it and apply it yourself. If be happy to let you have one if you are nearby in Colorado!

oh should have read the comments first. At least my comment is good for the alsorythm 😅
Looks Good 👍
Thanks! I like it!
Could you have used 6 black zip ties instead of adhesive? Looks great.
You could, but you'd see them if you looked hard enough. I didn't want that.
How has the silicone held up over time?
So far I have noticed no issues with it. Still running the same setup today.
What are those foot control extenders? I want a pair.

What’s the measurement for the screen for radiator cover

So since doing this, does the bike run hotter, are there any other side effects?
I have had no issues. The 2021 model does not have a temp gauge, but it was tuned on the dyno for 4 hours with this guard and my shop had no concerns.
@@Jimbobbington ok thanks I might do this with mine then
@@douglaz2053 easy to do and the ones available for sale are usually like $70-$100!
Cool idea!...side note. Anyone ever tell you your voice sounds like Ryan Reynolds?
Haha no! But I'll take it! (and Blake Lively)
Can I buy one from you? Let me know, thanks

@@Jimbobbington I'm in California, hahaha I guess shipping cost will not be worth it. Thanks though and don't be a skid mark lol !
@@fishballx8 yeah, better off finding something on Amazon!
Folding over the edges is no good because it doesn't fit back on the way it should. Cut precise and zip tie it.
