      When I was just a 2nd or 3rd grader i did manage to make a gun out of cardboard and thick paper, and I was dumb enough to carry it to school and got caught haha.. ofc it was not a sword but I thought I should mention it.. and no I am not from the US.

      @@robkingbang9133 I feel like toy weapons are at the heart of every 3rd grade boy. I attempted several cardboard guns in the past (before I had this channel) few of them ever worked well.
      Thanks for the comment... Even if it is not a sword 🗡️

      Nope, just a small channel from a dedicated crafter. Although, I would love to get 5M views (-:

    nice sword. I made one for the Macbeth play in middle school and this would have cut mine in half.. Also that really looks like oak wood so that would make it even stronger!

      I wanted to share a sword design that could actually deal damage. Honestly, when I started this project I wasn't even sure if I would make it through the banana. After finishing it I found bruises on my arms where my siblings had hit me with it 😅. I am glad you found the video to be valuable.
      I never really thought about how it looked like wood, but it kinda does.
      Cheers,

    is there a guide onto how to stick 2 carboard pipes (usually from tin-foil rolls) of same diameter on the inside together? (i want to connect them together, but the outside diameter is thicker, therefore larger than the other)

    Imagine this going toe to toe with an actual sword or even a katana? I mean it probably won’t cut it in half, but it’s probably make a pretty deep bend 👍

    • @MakerBrain
      @MakerBrain  6 місяців тому

      I appreciate your faith in this design, but I doubt that it would be able bend a katana. It might bend a fencing sword in half though.

    but can it stab with that tip?

    • @MakerBrain

      I have not tested the strength of the tip, but I would count in it to stab through cardboard or drywall. I think it might even puncture my flesh if I stabbed it at my stomach hard enough.
