Honestly it could happen but not in 2.1. I think that 2.2 will give creators many tools to push the game to even higher limits. I just don't see slaughterhouse leaving the top 10 or even the top 5 before 2.2 comes out. Acheron took zoink 3 months to verify and that shows something. You would have to get the absolute BEST players and they would have to dedicate hours upon hours into verifying some beast of a level.

For those who don't know, The Third Variant has been verified using a bug that sync the frame perfects with 60fps. It was done on accident and there are no reliable way to reproduce the bug. What it means is that TTV was beaten like it was 60fps frame perfects and not 360fps, making it way way easier. This makes Paraballa (28 60fps frame perfects) & Final Fantasy (this challenge has 32 very hard jumps, 14 frame perfect on 144fps or 5 frame perfect on 240fps) the hardest timing challenges. With that said, this was discovered way after the video was released and OneAlphaHelix had no way of knowing it, just wanted to inform since I saw no comment adressing this. And also, Acheron was verefied and dethroned Slaughterhouse.
You forgot that in 2.2 rob said that he will make gameplay as similar as possible on every frame rates making levels like slaughterhouse almost impossible, we are talking about a raise of difficulty to the point where spaceuk might not be able to beat slaughterhouse again. (Basically frames will be maxed at 60)

Not necessarily. The update will add more to the game making newer levels difficult until players are use to them. If you think about it, acheron doesnt become easier all of a sudden, it stays the same difficulty no matter what. New levels will be harder until the new mechanics are mastered and become easier

7:20 demon park wasn't the hardest level at the time, it was just a really well known hard level which had the difficulty named after it. there were many other more difficult levels, but as they didn't garner as much attention they weren't used as inspiration for a new difficulty
such as? The hardest leveld for both 1.0 and 1.1 weren't any harder, so it would be hard to imagine any levels released before demon park that were harder (keep in mind to the grave came out after)

Yeah, length is absolutely an underrated element when it comes to difficulty. There's a reason why Dark Travel, a level that would be an easy demon (And for a long time, even *was* a medium demon) if not for its 6:30 minute length, is an insane demon. If Falling Maze, officially the hardest minigame in the entirety of Geometry Dash is only about 1:30 minutes long, I could only imagine how hard it would be if YoReid made the level utilize the entire song lenth...
Don’t forget The Long Walk Home, it’s literally 11 minutes long but the only reason it’s not more than an easy demon is because the gameplay is extremely slow and sight-readable (also not really related to difficulty but music is extremely calming making it easier to focus, just imagine if Slaugtherhouse kept Lost as its song)
I personally think that way, way in the future the human limit would be around about Misanthrope difficulty. I feel that no matter how hard we try, we'll get nowhere near something like Ballistic Wistfully, obviously, though maybe i'm underestimating humanity, and the hardest would be a level that had a consistent difficulty throughout of about the hardest part of Sakupen Circles with the length of Return 420/0, though, even that's pushing it a bit. It would be both funny and beautiful to see something like that get verified and it would probably (Literally) take about 1,000,000 attempts to verify, maybe even more.
i used to be in daily contact with the 4th victor (incl verifier) of slaughterhouse, i never expected him to be able to beat stuff like tartarus, let alone slaughterhouse. Wish i still had more contact with him, but so many irl factors kicked in, which made it impossible for me to be active. Its a different experience seeing someone grow to this level of skill over 3 years. We beat our (back then) new hardest insane demons on the same day i think. But im glad it got to see his growth in almost full length

what if we just got a mathematical way to calculate the difficulty of the level? like every input gets its difficulty value, based on its room for error, visibility, sync, position in the level, then raise to an exponent because doing 1 extreme timing is harder than doing multiple easier ones, then sum up the difficulty of all inputs, raise to an another exponent because doing them all in a row is much harder and finally multiply by the length of the level based on some formulas, giving you a way to mathematically calculate the difficulty of literally every level
I mean this value would be almost impossible to calculate for ship because the difficulty of ship has very little to do with timings and more so control.
You said 50% consistency at a 360fps frame perfect is a bit too generous, but if Skoe's consistency was 50%, he would expect around 2^18=262,144 attempts in order to beat the level. So either he got lucky, or his consistency was actually *better* than 50%.
nessus requires millions of clicks per seconds, with a level length of multiple hours. i doubt that even if someone engineers robots specifically to click that fast, the level won't be beaten ever, along with most levels on the sll.

2 player mode still isn't standardized in harder levels, and in the future more game modes will get added too. Don't forget 2.2 is closer now than its ever been as well.
UPDATE: The longest rated level is not TLWH but rather a level called Larga Espera clocking in at 15 minutes! (You could complete 1⅓ of tlwh in that time)

Personally, I think TAS will take over the demon list once it reaches the human limit, and then TAS records will start to be accepted, due to the sheer difficulty of even doing TAS on the hardest levels.

I can't believe the video didn't go without mentioning the impossible demon list. The list contains levels are were once seen as impossible but are now possible and levels that are considered "impossible" by todays standards. Impossible doest really fit it tho as the top 10 levels on there are still theoretically possible by a human. The hardest level on there rn is tax evasion with the wr for it being 0.5%, but when this video was made it was probably cyclolcyc which is around 7 minutes long. For the first jump of cyclolcyc u have to do 3 frame perfect jumps within half a milisecond window in order for the rotating sawblade to dissapear. Not only is that hard but u have to do it 6 more times in order to beat barely 2% of the level.
The hardest upcoming top demon is a hard question. For me, Azure Flare, silent dictras and orochi are the hardest, but orochi and silent dictras have really slow progress. The new top 1 is acheron, but the next after acheron is probably eternal night

I can't believe the video didn't go without mentioning the impossible demon list. The list contains levels are were once seen as impossible but are now possible and levels that are considered "impossible" by todays standards. Impossible doest really fit it tho as the top 10 levels on there are still theoretically possible by a human. The hardest level on there rn is tax evasion with the wr for it being 0.5%, but when this video was made it was probably cyclolcyc which is around 7 minutes long. For the first jump of cyclolcyc u have to do 3 frame perfect jumps within half a milisecond window in order for the rotating sawblade to dissapear. Not only is that hard but u have to do it 6 more times in order to beat barely 2% of the level.

The hardest upcoming top demon is a hard question. For me, Azure Flare, silent dictras and orochi are the hardest, but orochi and silent dictras have really slow progress. The new top 1 is acheron, but the next after acheron is probably eternal night
