Great Video. I ended up buying two of these as my daughters first keyboards.
I really struggled to find the right switches, the right fonts, the right tonkiness, and shine through key caps all in one board but these boards delivered.
Awesome review! It helped me pull the trigger and the boards were even better than I expected. I have an all nickle keycap build myself and trust me, it tonks, but there is something about the clsssic feel of this board thats so addicting and different in a good way vonoared to my custom build.
Great channel and great reviews, subbed!

I got to try this board and I really like it. The switches are great. The keys are nice. Knob is good. Will make a great gift. I too miss the shine through keycaps. Glad some companies are bringing them back with north facing leds. Pretty fed up of all the south facing ones blasting me in the eyes and pretending it is some kinda pro feature. Redragon has gotten pretty good in the past few years.
These keys are a bit different then Moa profile. Similar but not quite. This is the closest thing released to a Moa shine though. Which is awesome because lots of people love Moa but cannot find any shine through caps anywhere. Usually they are strange cartoony caps. With the odd gradiant caps. Even nice plain ones are hard to find. Shine through are non existent. Maybe makers will see this creation from red dragon and start to attempt to make some Shine through Moa's . This would be a dream come true. Or maybe Redragon will start to make some? They would have me as a customer since this is my favorite profile to type on. :D
My only complaint with the board is the software should have better RBG options. A way to customize actual effects. To really take advantage of those keycaps. I personally find the mechanical keyboard scene is veering away from RGB and it really should not. It is becoming rarer and rarer to find cool mechanical keyboards with rgb software that stands out above the others. Only the Big comercial brand boards have it and they are not very finger friendly to type on. If I could figure out a way to get Logitech RGB customization to work with my mechanical keyboards, I would do barrel rolls. Until then we are stuck with half arsed rgb on our amazing feeling keebs. It is a terrible cycle. :D

Or they could just make their keyboard OpenRGB complaint ;)

@@MechKeyboards In a perfect world they would. I have like 10 keyboards and only one is OpenRGB and SignalRGB compliant. No idea what the companies are thinking. We need to whoop em into shape! :D

Even though the site itself says MOA keycaps, the top edges aren't rounded off and I don't see the top dimple. And their image of a closeup of the keys show a gradual profile. I think it's a mix between OEM and MA that Redragon made up or something. But they can't call it MOA. I do like the look of it though, and soundwise it's good!
I like the spacebar; it's almost a ceramic tile sound.
    Nice review as always Mark!!!

Same, I compared and you are right, they are closer to OEM, but I liked it more than I thought I would. Thanks for watching, cheers!

I do wish there were more boards that supported north facing. South facing shines in my eyes and I don't like that. I have one north facing and the RGB just looks so much better than my other boards. I understand that there are some issues with north facing and some switch and keycap combos, but it seems like a weird reason to not offer north facing.

Thankfully most switches have updated their molds to not interfere with Cherry profile keycaps.

I have a question, which is better the ucal pro or the ucal max? And a vs between the ucal pro and the royal kludge r75 which is better?

Between the Ucal models, I prefer the Max. Personally, I would choose the RK R75 since it's QMK/VIA and my desktop run Linux, but if I used Windows I'd be happy with either the RD or RK.
