Y'know Rush, I'm a pretty lonely person as it goes. I had a few close friends in the past but... they moved on in their lives without me, and since then I haven't really had many people to talk to.
I just wanted you to know that your music has been able to help me with that loneliness on the days it gets the worst, and I'm really grateful. Thank you for putting your heart into these pieces, so all of us fans can catch a small chunk while listening to it.

idk why but whenever there's an anime girl when it comes to drawings like these it always makes the mood lighter. It's like a reminder that there is good in the world, and you have to enjoy much of what's happening, before it all ends.

A perfect sketch for going into winter. During this time of year, I like to open my window and let in the cold air from the night - right before snuggling up under two or three layers of heavy blankets.

This piece speaks to me so much, winter is my favorite time of year, and I've got so many amazing memories of winter and the snow that follows. I got my first role in a musical, I started dating my girlfriend, I got my dog. I've had so many sad memories too... My friend committed suicide, I got hit by a car, my old dog passed away... But life has ups and downs, you can't have that amazing powdery fluffy snow without the shoveling that comes with it. Winter is my favorite time of year because of the change it imposes, a time of amazing beauty, that hides the death and decay of nature. Autumn is when we see our world going to sleep, and winter is when we see earth cover it up in a white blanket to let it sleep peacefully. This peace i feel really represents that aspect of Winter. Just covering up our world and letting it sleep, all the while amazing humans with the beauty it brings.

This one, Its this one. I don't know what there is about this one but listening to this in these winter months just makes me smile and gives me a little hope in that things will be okay. It brings my emotions upwards no matter what they are which helps me figure out what's up this week thank you
you have such a knack with music and expressing emotion within all of it, as a trumpet player and musician when ever I hear any of your pieces I just adore that they sound like real playing, which makes me really want a sheet for some of these scores and go ham.

This couldn't have come at a better time, I was eating breakfast and was thinking about last Christmas, one of the best I've ever had but with restrictions I'll likely not have a similar one. I think this song captures not only the hope that the holiday season brings but also hope in its purest sense, that one day we'll be able to go back to those days of making gingerbread castles and walking through German Christmas markets with the dearest of friends.

Maybe it's because I had the context of the title, image, and publication date, but I do think this sounds like comfort--like being in a warm house as the days get darker and colder.
It also kind of makes me think of music from the CD, Yo-Yo Ma & Friends: Songs of Joy and Peace.

The streets were filled with people, animals, and spirits alike. A woman in a witches outfit was caring to her giant familiars, a tiger and deer. A mother passed by with her child's hand in her own. others walked through the streets taking note to the now falling snow. meanwhile one girl with blonde hair and blue eyes had her face pressed against a piece of glass.
she peered in the window, looking for something. But what was she looking for? A place to warm herself from the cold, no her clothes were quite warm. Was she planning on buying a gift for the nearing day of celebration, she was unsure herself. She looked to the side and pouted, a person from the other side of the glass noticed her peeking in and smiled.
The one on the other side, gave her a teasing smile. how childish they knew their friend was. how they knew she would stubbornly wait until their work was finished. The person sighed, and tried to hurry to finish the work. Even though their friend's clothes were rather warm, she had probably been waiting there for an hour, maybe even more. The person saw the snow outside sticking to the ground, with the days of summer long past, they both knew it was getting colder.
Damn shame it’s not getting colder over here in Australia, people are evaporating over here
