You know, I just realized why Rush's orchestrations are so special (at least to me). He's a fan of everything he makes. He knows why people likes the things he likes, and he knows how to emphasize that with music. Keep doing you, Rush.

I’m not gonna talk about how good it is because you’ve heard that a million times as well as the, “You’ve helped me through some tough times my guy”, thing that people say, even if it is true. What I will say is I’ve never made music. I have no idea whether this was difficult or not to make. Coming back to this after Ash becomes the Pokemon World Champion makes this orchestration even better. Everything that Ash has experienced, from his losses in the tournaments of the first 6 regions to his win as Alola's champion, this song really feels like a true celebration that Ash has finally achieved his dream, and is truly the very best, like no one ever was.
This comment hits hard now that we got a announcement like few days ago that Ash's story is coming to a end next year, after 25 plus years of journeying with him.

You know, it truly is the little things that mean the most. I just clicked on this to listen to for the first time and the chime at the beginning was enough to make me stop the whole video. Hearing that chime that went along with "The Pokemon Company" logo is such a nostalgic sound. It brings back so many memories of Colosseum and XD Gale of Darkness that im happy before even getting to the music. Thank you Rush for what you make and what you will continue to produce.

I'll be honest. I was watching many people's covers of Acacia on YT. One of my favorite songs. I saw this with many other covers. But for some reason, my brain thought not to watch this, probably because of the minimalistic thumbnail. And I actually regret not watching this before when I saw it. When I finally watched it, NGL I was completely shaken by the musical beauty of this cover. Especially the 3:40 part when I heard the 1st dub OP, the song I grew up with, one of my favorites of all time. It came outta nowhere. This was so unexpected that it made me have goosebumps all the way through. The memories...

Update:
It both made me feel very nostalgic, and also filled with a sense of jamais vu. It just filled me with that old nostalgic feeling wanting to go out and find Pokémon, even if they didn’t really exist. Go out into my woods searching for celeby, go to my towns cemetery looking for haunter. While at the same time it feels like a totally unique piece, something that I’m not familiar with at all, even though I know it shouldn’t feel that way. Like even the part where the theme blatantly comes boring out, it really didn’t feel like a Pokémon orchestration. It was a super unique listen. I really loved it 11/10 Pokémon was my childhood
I recently got back into listening to Acacia and have been on a binge with any and all content having to do with the Gotcha! music video. The nostalgia I feel every time I watch the video and listen to the music sucker punches me without fail. This orchestration is breathtaking rendition of Acacia and I'm immediately thrown back to how I felt when beating Cynthia in Diamond for the first time. Back to when I defeated Red on the top of Mt. Silver. So many memories made from a franchise about capturing small pocket monsters. This is a beautiful work of art and I'll be returning to listen to this on repeat for many weeks to come.
I'm old enough that I've played on every Pokemon generation (starting with Yellow on Gameboy Color, both my first game and my first console) without having to rely on emulation. That song just hit me very hard in the feels, in a good way though. But hey, I came prepared for that to happen : it's a Rush orchestration after all.

Hey same. Pokemon Blue on the Gameboy Color was my first video game. Man, I still remember struggling to leave my house because I couldn't comprehend the idea that there was no visible door just a patch of carpet to represent the door.

every good and bad fight I've had, every adventure I experienced, every triumph and loss. Pokemon taught me to keep my head up and look forward from a young age and is why I'm here to say this today. Thanks for letting me suddenly flashback through every joy and sorrow me and my friends shared for the last 15 years since I first tried Pokemon Yellow and started to really try to live.

most people say "I cried to this" as a joke or not seriously, but I genuinely am saying that this made me tear.
It wasn't nostalgia or attachment, it just felt so uplifting compared the bad day that came from a week that is happening. Games, Anime, and Cartoons aside, it was the beautifulness that just felt so great
This song is for us, the generation that grew up with this show, we're like no one ever was, and like no ever will be. 10, 20, 30, even 50 years from now I'll be able to here this song, or even most other Pokemon music, and I'll remember growing up with this. Oh... Memories so long gone I had thought they never existed anymore. Just...hearing this made me think of things I couldn't remember, just like...memories that were hiding. I heard this at 6:08 AM with the dawn and it was absolutely the most beautiful mixture of nostalgia and happiness. Thanks Rush, for helping me remember simpler times and things.
Pokemon has always been a very beautiful part of my childhood. I wasn't rich, neither was I poor, but I experienced so much hardship and confusion where all that lays is a husk of what used to be me. But music, especially those correlating to my past always reminds me that there will be better days, and that this is still the beginning.

As someone who's been playing pokemon since fire red and leaf green, this whole orchestration and the music video it came from hits hard in the nostalgia. I've had the same blastoise transferred through every game for the past 16 years. I still remember transferring her to x&y and petting her for the first time and crying cause I fainaly got to tell her that she was the best girl! She's now on my shield team and I'll continue to transfer her through all future games too!

What I felt while listening to this song is something that words just aren't enough to describe (but I'll try anyways). It reminded of all the great times I've had with not only pokemon, but all the cartoons, games, everthing that made me who I am today. It's a feeling I haven't felt in a while but it never fails to bring me to tears, it's magical. Thank you, truly.
