The BattleBox at Fort Canning Park || Walking Singapore

We pay a visit to The BattleBox, the underground command centre that is built underground at Fort Canning Park. This was the site where the British made the decision to surrender Singapore to the Japanese during World War II in 1942.
We explore the various rooms including the Cipher Office and the Gun Control Rooms, as well as the Conference Room.

i have been inside the BattleBox since last December and its history was amazing with a friendly and entertaining guide. previously, we needed to pay 20 SGD per adult for the entrance fee under a strict crowd quota of at most 20 persons per time session. it was opened to the public only on friday to sunday and public holidays. photography and video recording were strictly prohibited inside the battlebox bunker.
since you state that Fort Canning's battlebox has recently just reopened to the public, what was actually going on at the attraction before that? luckily, i visited prior to its closure and reopening. i heard that the admission into the battlebox is free after its reopening. anyhow, i will consider of visiting it again once i head down to singapore for my deepavali weekend holiday. you can visit other war-related places in singapore like the Changi Chapel & Museum, Fort Siloso in Sentosa and the Reflections at Bukit Chandu in the near future.

Fort Canning Park is an historical gem in Singapore's CBD. I visited last Friday. Excellent presentation with friendly staff. Highly recommended...

Is it true story the soldiers in sg flag are japanese at marina square at that time(if they open the face they wear), causing this at fort canning park, about the distance, then mandai and beaches? First war is at marina square? Is it because story of engine(f1 usually there)?
