I cried put to jesus literally right before i clicked this video because its been just overwhelmingly overwhelming lately. I had thoughts and questions built up and couldn't even say it. I asked him where he was. I got ephesians 1:14 and read a liytle further. This video came up after i finished reading so i clicked and THE LOVE OF GOD JUST POURED OUT OF THIS TEACHING because like i said before i had questions and thoughts that i couldn't even speak and so when i clicked all the thoughts and just literal answers came flooding. Thank you sis for saying YASSSSS TO THE CALL. YOU DONT EVEN UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH GOD SPEAKS TO US INDIVIDUALLY THROUGH YOU. MY GOD THIS JUST MAKES MY HEART BURST WITH SO MUCH LOVE FOR JESUS. Deanna, your message couldn't have come at a more fitting time. I had just read in Acts about the Lord sending Peter to declare that what He had purified should no longer be considered unclean. However, last night, my experience with Old Testament scripture led me to believe I was facing extreme wrath and separation from God. It felt like a direct, personal rebuke, as if He no longer wanted me. This confusion made me see God as a kind of mad king, echoing your description.
In that moment, I grappled with feelings of unworthiness and questioned the purpose of life if I was so irredeemable in God's eyes. But the truth is, God will never forsake His own promises. He loves us unconditionally and will never leave or forsake us. I realize now that I was momentarily caught up in a lie, losing sight of the enduring truth of God's boundless love and faithfulness. Thank you for your timely and reassuring message. I needed answers and it was there in perfect timing. Glory to God! My joy has returned.
I’m cracking up at the lawn mower & blower. Every Friday we hold a proverbs & prayer study and the same thing happens with mowers and blowers as a distraction; and I find that I press in even harder during the distraction. Praise God for patient endurance and His word. Regardless…such a good word! Amen. Praise God!

I have been unable to read the Bible for myself, because I am gay, and I love God but wasn’t sure if he’d love me back.
I know this message I’m typing might not make sense to everyone, but this video has really freed me in reconciling those two things and allowed me to understand God for how my heart has always seen Him, and not how the world has been telling me he is towards me but how he actually loves us even the gays. God is giving me a beautiful chance to have a relationship and maybe even get married, to know that someone who I thought I was being told was against me is blessing me with all these things is one of the most exciting and emotional experiences I’ve had in many years
I know the Holy Spirit has been communicating to me about God’s heart for people, throughout my 30 years of being on this Earth.
When you described that feeling in Church when you feel that the song is being sung to and over you, I am so grateful that you shared that. That has happened to me once but it left me feeling guilty or perhaps bad for feeling that way so I didn’t hold on to the gift and feeling God was trying to give me.
Reaping what you did not sow Is one of the most liberating feelings in the world and from that blessing, you can then be a blessing.
God loves all sinners, but He hates the sin I encourage you to continue studying the Bible along side the Holy Spirit the (Spirit of Truth), put aside your feelings about what it says and allow the Holy Spirit to speak know that the Holy Spirit does not go against His word so if you feel conviction its the Holy Spirit giving you light on something you are in the dark about your flesh will always go against your the Spirit but if you desire Truth you will have to kill your flesh and submit to Him come in agreement with the Holy Spirit quickly remember if it goes against your flesh it's the Holy Spirit showing you something you are in error, and always ask God for the truth so that you don't lean on your own understanding.
@@trini2dboneluv There is no one size fit all for our relationship with God. I realise that the translation that people read as “homosexuals“ is a word that didn’t exist back when it was translated into modern translations (check the meaning of the words you read). So to know God’s heart and therefore that he doesn’t condemn gay people is a real relief, and will save so many souls who believe that God isn’t FOR them.
God is a fair God, and he knows it is not good for us to be alone, and we are now all on a level playing field with straight people alike: where we should not have sex before marriage, but that is sin and we should all be wary about doing that as it can do damage. However we know there are no rules for Christian’s and that these commands are there to benefit the listener. If you break it down, the reason why we should wait to get married is because there is a power that comes from having sex which couples that are not in committed relationships cannot handle.
God knew this, and so he commands us to wait until we are committed, otherwise the pain can be immense and he wants to protect us from that. We can destroy the relationship when we have sex before God’s timing because we go and put a power inside of our relationship that it may not yet be ready to handle.
So if you’re thinking about having sex the English phrase “hold your horses” (i.e slow down) comes to mind. During that waiting period you can check if you and your partner and your relationship can handle the gifts that come with sexual intimacy.
God often does not give us what we asked for because we are not ready for it, not because he doesn’t want us to have it or to give us the gift. He just knows if we receive something / give in too soon to having sex we will experience great pain, and potentially loss. Again God wants to protect us from all of that, as many of us seem to learn the hard way.
Every word God speaks is for a good, and when we understand that, we learn to trust him and to put into practice the wisdom he has and that he has revealed to us.
Hi Peter. First and foremost, God ABSOLUTELY loves you!! He loves all of his children. He wants you to draw closer to Him and get to know Him. He wants relationship with you.
However, homosexuality is definitely a sin based on God’s Word. I’m not saying this to condemn or be religious - I’m just inserting truth in response to your last comment. The things that are pleasing and displeasing to God are talked about many times throughout scripture. Please read the entire Bible for yourself.
I pray you receive this message with love, as intended. Once again, I am not condemning or judging. I do not feel there is one sin greater than another…they are all displeasing to the Father and we all fall short. But none of us should reject knowledge.

us humans who have decided that the term displeasure means He’s mad, but actually simply means He cannot have pleasure in it. Please look him up it’s a wonderful teaching!

I’m glad you have found God has been speaking to you. I have not seen anyone call God mad personality, but if you felt that way, just know all of God’s plans / teachings are for your good. Even when it doesn’t make sense at the time: it will do in hindsight!

Here are some things to help with your concerns:
HOMOSEXUALITY & THE BIBLE
The word ‘homosexual’ was never in the original Bible. In the original Greek and Hebrew texts, the word that is now translated to ‘homosexual’ actually accurately translates to ‘pedophile; or ‘boy abuser’ or ‘boy molester.’
That is, according to the bible, homosexuality is NOT a sin. Child molesting is.
The ancient world condoned and encouraged systemic pederasty - sexual relationships between an adult (old) man and a young boy, usually 8-12 years old.
According to theologian Ed Oxford, “Ancient Greek documents show us how even parents utilized this abusive system to help their sons advance in society.” For most of history, these verses were interpreted to be obviously referring the pederasty, not homosexuality!
In summary, the original bible condemned pederasty, not homosexuality. The shift to attack homosexuality in the 1980s is not only a calculated attack on queer folks that came during a critical period for us (think: the AIDS epidemic) but is also disgustingly ironic coming from an institution with nearly 6,000 (old) clergy men charged with sexual assault of young boys. Think they’re covering something up? Hard to argue otherwise.
Here’s a timeline:
1534: Martin Luther’s original German translation includes ‘knabenschander,’ which means boy molester.
1800s: A German Bible reads, “Man shall not lie with young boys as he does with a woman, for it is an abomination,” (Leviticus 18-22) and reads, “Boy molesters will not inherit the kingdom of God,” (1 Corinthians).
1892: The Germans create the word ‘homosexual.’
1983: The American company Biblica pays for an updated German bible that uses the word ‘homosexual’ instead of ‘boy molesters.’ This was later put into the English bibles which read, “Man shall not lie with man, for it is an abomination.”

As I was listening to you read from John and talk about the exchange of values, a part from the book of revelation came up. Where the elders are throwing their crowns down in worship for the one on the throne, and the lamb. At the same time all of the elders were given their own crowns and thrones.
So I had to pause the video and look it up and ended up reading Revelations 4-7, and I would highly recommend going through this with the wisdom of what Deanna has shared here. It talks about the kingdom of God (5:10), living water (7:17), how we've been given authority to reign the earth by his blood (7:14). It's like so many bits of this book that I previously found confusing are beginning to make sense.
I don't fully understand any of it, but I can feel the conversation has only just begun. Thank you Deanna for this video🙏

I just had this conversation with my therapist. It’s like I try and reach and pursue but it’s like He’s playing hard to get. But instead of fearing him, I disappear and hide; I take his silence for rejection and it seems like He’s just like everyone else. This realization hurt me so much. Aww a problem I see here is you seem to feel like you’re chasing God maybe with no reciprocation from him and are trying to please him. You are living a lifestyle of condemnation. One thing that I like about the story of David is that he was described as a man after Gods own heart even though he made so many mistakes. This is because his heart was wanting God despite his mistakes. God sees our heart to do his will and please him. As of now, when we accepted Jesus Christ into our hearts we, we are now co-heirs with Christ. He is already well pleased with you even just for accepting Christ and having faith in him. Not to say we should sin (Romans 6:2). But as a whole, God sees your heart, anything we could try to do ourselves to be righteous before him is as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6), hence we needed Jesus to be our righteousness. So try to live in the peace that Jesus is your righteousness and that God is already pleased with you :). Obvs yes we should definitely love lives worthy of our calling and in love and reverence of God, but don’t feel as if you will ever lose God or his love (Rom 8:35) based on you trying this and that to please him and the potential up and downs of that. He already is pleased with you. I hope that was well rounded and made sense, only so much explanation I can do through a comment lol🩷 🤧
